Yeah its that time of year again, only problem is sitting here at work listening to the same crappy christmas music all day lol. Oh well I`m going to Cancun at the start of January which is my christmas present to myself and my wife. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

very envious of the trip...we have done dominican & cancun the last couple years....wifes prego now...no flights for her! ..but my boy will be the greatest gift when he arrives!

So how much approximately do you guys spend on Christmas? I came to Canada as a teenager and when I was growing up Christmas was about religion and family. I got a present or two but nothing crazy. My wife on the other hand is all about presents on Christmas and so is her whole family. Since my in-laws live in Ontario and we are in Alberta they brought our Christmas presents when they were here in October but we are not allowed to open them till Christmas. When my wife was growing up she had a 6ft stocking which was full and about twice the amount of the stocking around the stocking on the ground. To me this is a tad bit too much, lol. Now that I am going to be a father and will be buying presents for my kids I want to buy stuff for them but I don't want to go stupid over it.

Christmas for my family is more about seeing everyone. I only see my family a few times a year. Me and my sister just tell each other what we want lol. I bought her a couple books, she's buying me a chalk bag :) My favorite part about christmas is the home made bread my mom makes, nom nom. And glorious egg nog...

CC and i are buying a trip to mexico in Feb also, thats our main present, plus a few little goodies on xmas day to open......

We just bought ourselves a Kayak and all the trimmings, dry suit's etc.. We had to choose between that or a tropical get away.. Niether of us wanted to be couped up indoors all winter, so Kayak it was. Got the dry suits yesterday in Victoria and picking up our Kayak tomorrow, i am soooo stoked!!!
