Hey so I am getting tired of cooking what seems to be the same things over and over. Wondering if anyone has any interesting recipes for chicken, moose, beef.

I live alone so am cooking for only one with leftovers for lunch/dog lol.

thanks in advance.

put a 1/4 cup water and 4 tblsp's lemon juice in a frying pan with a package of blackberrys and heat on medium mushing berries as they heat... bring to a bubble to thicken... makes a great sauce for plain old chicken if you can spare the carbs..

mix equal amounts whole grain mustard with honey stir well..makes a great suace...if you cant spare the carbs you can use no sugar syroup instead...

for steak mix worchestershire sauce, lemon juice, tobbasco, ketchup and olive oil... makes a great marinade...

ive got a million but none written down.. i love to cook and enjoy inventing.. dont be scared to just mix random spices with random sauces to try them out.. if you think it might taste good together..go for it!!

me to pretty much.

sounds like some good idea's above.

We cook every sunday.... ground beef, steak, chicken, roast and rice.

Nothing special just cook lol, I did cut up the chicken this time and add spices rather then baking the whole breast. It was definately a tastey treat!

Shake up some chicken breast in shake'n'bake. Bake it up till its cooked, than put some Salsa on top, add a bit of shredded cheese, bake it till the cheese melts. Tis good.

If my wife wouldn't complain I would eat the same thing every day. I have certain meals that I do eat every day.

Lean Ground beef:
I fry it up in the frying pan but I drain the fat as I cook it. I usually drain 50% of fat or more. I use it for pasta with tomato sauce, frank's red hot(per taste), onions.
Steak:
Marinate it in low fat italian dressing for about 2hrs, it's really good. I always grill the stake.
Chicken:
I use "Vegeta" for it. I rub it all over the chicken and then grill it. Vegeta is low in sodium and it has lots of dried vegetable in it. You can find it in pretty much any grocery store. I find that for chicken if you are creative with spices it will always taste good.
Pork:
When I eat pork I cut off all the fat and use vegeta on it as well. Vegeta is also good on steak. I always grill the pork.
Burgers:
I make my own burgers. 400g lean ground beef, finely chopped onion(not too much 1/4 cup), 1 egg, franks red hot(my favourite spice, love it), 1 tbsp paprika and anything else that you might like. I make 2 burgers out of this but a person that doesn't eat as much as I do might want to make 4. If I am not BBQing the burgers I cook the burgers in the Forman grill so that some fat comes out.

Try out some chicken salad food. This is healthy at the same time you will also enjoy it. Mix up with some fresh left over or available vegetables and you can enjoy your food with diet. Try to think of some recipes that will really spice up your appetite at the same time with a diet.

Try cooking up some extra lean ground beef, with onions spices mustard then cut a green pepper in half and stuff then pepper with the beef. Then either toss er on the BBQ or in the oven for 15 min.. and its kind of like having a burger!

For chicken, try searing some chicken or pork chops ( fat trimmed off ) in a pan with garlic, then toss them in the oven covered in chicken soup broth. I do that every once in a while to change up plain baked chicken breast.
As a side try coating Broccoli with garlic, that 0 cal fake butter stuff, lemon juice cyan and mrs dash, then grill them on the BBQ.. great change up from plain old steamed veggies. Plus for some reason i like the way they taste when they are kinda burnt!
Good luck!

On grocery day I bring home a rotisserie chicken.

With only the two of us I generally only have dry chicken breast.
The roasted chickend is a wonderful treat once a week.

A big pot of soup on the weekend is a good start to cooking for one.
As is shepperds pie, we use sweet potatoes on top.
A pot of chili makes life a little more pleasant in the winter.

.... I have to stop. 15 more weeks of this diet to go and I'm just getting hungry thinking about real food.

i don't even think of my daily meals as "food"... it's just fuel...
Cheat meals are "food" which I enjoy...

sunday nights we have a roast instead of weekly ground beef
every once in a while I'll cook my chicken breast with this curry spice stuff... or low sodium taco spice... otherwise, I'd rather pop a piece of gum in my mouth for 5 calories than add crap that I don;t need to eat.
