Why was my poll deleted?

I made a hypothetical poll and it has been deleted without an explanation yet we have homosexual troll threads that go unchecked?

Could whoever deleted my thread give an explanation?

Deleted by me because it brings out the worst in the members and got reported posts for it.

Don't compare it to the Baracine thread, he instigated it so he's got to be ready for the backlash.

Personally I don't care if Baracine stays or goes, doesn't affect my life either way, nor is he harming anyone, however, with all due respect there is some misconception in the justification for deleting Bam's thread and not his. It seems to me that Baracine's post also brings out the worst in members, from what I've seen much worse than that which the poll exhibited. Further, Bam started the poll and was also experiencing backlash for it. I don't see the clear distinction here.

I had locked down Baracine's post right after deleting Bam's thread. It will eventually get deleted.

My thread was instantly deleted without warning and without an explanation while
Bareback's thread was locked down with an explanation and has yet to be deleted.

I don't get it. Why not delete it?

I made a judgment call. We've already had issues with racism, antisemitism and the like without it ever turning out well. So I pulled it.

Baracine's thread was a new issue I never dealt with and wanted to see the turnout to see how to handle future threads like that. I got my answer. After the general population sees how it turned out and me locking it down to stop threads like that, I'll pull it as well as other threads similar to it in the future.
