How about a NHB section? the mods seems to look the other way with flagrant aggressive users, so why not just let them dump the thread to a forum where the rules do not apply? that way they can all go at it further without disrupting the actual uses of the sub-forums

lol, not even a day. Threats of violence, swearing etc. I wanted to have a thread where people could battle it out and then calm down but it seemed to do the opposite. Caused more aggression and bigger attacks.

Isn't that the whole point? a whole section devoted towards idiots? let them ride it out?

Either that or you guys need a mod team that can go full swing with the ban hammer.

To those who this thread is about. I won't point fingers and stuff. Some of you have been with me a lot of years, even more than the CBB years. Some of you we only heard of eachother from CBB.

I ask of you to be more respectful to the members, as a favour. In particular if you disagree with something, give your reasoning instead of an insult. Help me make running this place a little easier and create more of a positive atmosphere. That way I can focus more on getting the improvements CBB needs.

If I have to check every thread and get involved with every little bit of drama, I get emotionally involved. When that happens, usually I have to do something about it. Either enforce a rule, ban someone, warn someone or something else. The point is I should not have to do that. You are all adults and you know how to check yourselves. If you were someone that is here just to cause shit, I would ban you without worrying about it. There are immature people out there that have nothing better to do.

But some guys here are not trolls even though they appear to be sometimes. We all have online personalities. The guys that are here for the love of bodybuilding and the wanting to be a part of CBB, we have to learn to coexist.

One of the things I really like is when 2 or more people disagree on something but defend their reasoning in an intellectual manner. That is where we all start to learn something or our beliefs are reinforced by the reasoning of someone else.

The thing with you is you don't take things personally and fume. It plays in your favour when you get into those arguments of yours. The problem is the guy on the receiving end doesn't take it like you do. It becomes personal and they get bent out of shape. You just carry on feeling a bit amused but overall unaffected. It works to your advantage when you argue online, it doesn't phase you.

But you must understand that others do not feel like you. It does affect them and they do feel insulted and angry and vengeful. This is what I ask of YOU directly to be a bit more sensitive with. Let them feel part of something and their personality online will evolve and if they are decent folk, they'll bring a lot of positive stuff here. Being a long standing member that knows what you're doing in bodybuilding, you can help guide them to not do things wrong without breaking them down. You're better than that Nate. I just think you get bored sometimes and look for some stimulus.

If they are bonified trolls, you got my blessing to toy with them as I know you can do it without being phased :D

Please please don't try to clone md/rxmuscle. While they are incredibly successful and I love their bodybuilding coverage/multimedia their forum is almost completely free of anythhing having to do with bodybuilding.
