I found this really interesting but cant seem to get any more solid information. Anyways I am sure this will be helpful/informative to a few bros who are also on SSRI’s.

It seems that SSRI's and SERMS interfere and compete with each other. These drugs compete for the CYP2D6 enzyme which is needed to metabolize tamoxifen into the active form endoxifen.[43] – Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamoxifen

So from what I gather, SSRI drugs would interfere with the blocking of estrogen binding to the receptors in breast tissue and could leave you open to things like gyno? What I cant seem to find is to what extent the synergy(or lack thereof) between SSRI’s and SERMs is, and if in fact the interaction will lead to estro symptoms. What is really unfortunate is there is no real info or research from a BB point of view that I can find.

Below is a list of inhibitors that will block Nolva from working.

Strong Inhibitors
Generic Names Brand Names
Bupropion -Wellbutrin
Fluoxetine -Prozac
Paroxetine -Paxil
Quinidine -Cardioquin

Moderate Inhibitors
Generic Names Brand Names
Duloxetine -Cymbalta
Sertraline -Zoloft
Diphenhydramine -Benadryl
Thioridazine -Mellaril
Amiodarone -Cordarone
Trazodone -Desyrel
Cimetidine –Tagamet

Also if you are using AAS and have to be on some type of antidepressant these drugs do not have the same interaction as the above…maybe an option to switch with your Dr.

SSRIs and SNRIs That Are Not Inhibitors
Generic Names Brand Names
Venlavaxine -Effexor
Citalopram -Celexa
Escitalopram -Lexapro.

I know there is a lot of people out there who suffer from mild depression to full out anxiety. So I thought it would be good to address this and see if anyone has more info or has in fact noticed/felt any type of drug interactions.

Thanks for posting this info, it is useful to see as I have been thinking about taking SSRI's. Still undecided, but thinking of giving them a try.
