So I check tracking and my order supposedly arrives yesterday, I check today and nothing. I call canadapost and apparently its been returned to sender.

........I'm trying so hard not to put my head through a wall right now. I don't know whats wrong with them. They lost my freakin' Guitar Hero world edition a few months back. That thing is like the size of a small freezer...how the hell do they lose that.

I 100% sure someone took the guitar hero. The customer service lady said yesterdays package was returned to sender. I need to have a chat with the postman, maybe he's too stupid to read the writing.

WOW how the hell do they loose such a big parcel...did you have insurance?

Rex

Not on the guitar hero, was ebay purchase. Seller refuses to do anything because tracking shows it was "delivered".

Thats brutal when you have to worry about canada post just stealing stuff and nothing can be done. If it shows "delivered" than would the blame be on the mail carrier?

Exactly, I first gave canadapost the benefit of the doubt and filled a dispute with the ebay seller, but he provided all the proof he sent it to the right place.

If it was sent Expresspost, CP will be able to figure out where it went screwy... they just might not want to tell you...

99% of the time, all goes well for me...but:

- Once, I got a notification that a package was waiting for me. Hmm...wasn't expecting anything, so off to the Post Office I go.

It was something I sent nearly TWO (2!!!) YEARS earlier being returned to sender! (No reason given.) W-T-F!?

- Someone I know owns quite a few rental properties, and so gets Registered Mail from time to time. He doesn't keep 9-5 hours, but was puzzled by the fact he NEVER seemed to be home to sign for them; he always had to go to the P.O.

So one day, he opens the door and sees his mailman about to leave a notification in his mailbox for a ....registered letter. My friend goes "OK, I'll just take the letter now as I'm obviously here." The postman goes "No, it's back at the shop. Don't worry, it's just from some accountant..." The bastard doesn't even bring it along with him! And "...just from some accountant"?!?! Who is HE to decide it it's important or not? By definition, registered = important legal documents, etc...

Wow...and CP bitches about losing market share to couriers, e-mail etc...

Always get signature on your pack I would say. They care more this way, as if no sig. they can just leave it anywhere and say delivered.
