not too sure exactly what my maintenance calories are but Im going to say around 3000. I do not want to put on much fat with this bulk, so i was thinkng of cutting back on the almonds and replacing it with something little less calories, same protein and less fat.

If he IS in high school is it still in the top 5 worst diet plans you have seen?

The almonds are the only thing that is really packing any calories at all... so no don't get rid of them, get rid of everything else and add in beef and some vegetables... and rice.

Yeah you're using way too much milk products and bread in my opinion. It sounds like you don't really care to cook. I eat 3 cooked meals each day + cooked egg breakfast and then the other meals are oatmeal/tuna/nuts/egg white or shakes.

You and I are about the same size, I am 6ft. 210-215 10-15% BF so here is what I do for bulking.
Meal 1 (every day)
3 eggs, 2 slices of fat free cheese, 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 2 slices of lean lunch meat (I make a sandwich out of this)
½ cup of quick oats, one small fat free yogurt, I mix the yogurt in the quick oats for better taste
Meal 2
2 cups of milk 1%, 2 home made protein/granola bars
Meal 3
2 post workout shakes
25g of protein, 40g of dextrose, 5g glutamine each
Meal 4 after workout meal usually an hour or so after the shakes
400g of lean ground beef, 100g of whole wheat pasta,1/3 of a can of pasta sauce
Meal 5
Whatever is for dinner. Usually about 60g of protein from meat, 50g of carbs(potatoes, rice, sweet potatoes, pasta) and 10-20g of fat. I usually have veggies on the side and a really big salad with this.
Meal 6
More of what I had for dinner but this time 30g of protein and 30g of carbs and 10g of fat max.
Meal 7 before bed
If my protein intake wasn’t good enough for the day I will have a can of tuna with 2tbsp of fat free mayo and 1tsp of crushed red pepper and 1 pickle and 250g of 1% cottage cheese. If my protein intake was good I will have only 125g of 1% cottage cheese.

Fat 112.5g
Carbs 434g
Protein 367g
Calories 4395

My maintenance is around 2500 calories and ever since I got over 200lbs 3500cals wasn't enough so I upped my overall intake to 4000-4500cals and it seems to work good for me.
