hey bros,

I was wondering how I would be able to test if im allergic to ethyl oleate? What can I break the skin with? Or can I inject an IU to see if I can tolerate it?

Inject an IU just undering the skin I mean.

Just looked on webmd on how to do an allergy test.

They stated,

"Skin prick test . This test is done by placing a drop of a solution containing a possible allergen on the skin, and a series of scratches or needle pricks allows the solution to enter the skin. If the skin develops a red, raised itchy area (called a wheal), it usually means that the person is allergic to that allergen. This is called a positive reaction.

Intradermal test . During this test, a small amount of the allergen solution is injected into the skin. An intradermal allergy test may be done when a substance does not cause a reaction in the skin prick test but is still suspected as an allergen for that person. The intradermal test is more sensitive than the skin prick test but is more often positive in people who do not have symptoms to that allergen" (retrieved on November 23, 2009, from http://www.webmd.com/allergies/allergy-tests)

Well there's several levels of allergy here. The skin prick or the sub-q test may not tell you anything as you still might not tolerate it being injected into the muscle.

If you really wanna know just inject pure sterile EO into a muscle and see.

This ^^^

Keep some benadryl on hand. Most people tolerate it well. I can tolerate it okay, but when there's too much BA I can break out in rashes. Had some nasty UGL gear that would do that too much. Yuck.

You could do a subQ injection. If you are EO intolerant you will get red swelling. Reaction may be delayed, I didn't swell up till around 48 hours.
