I started using this and am taking 1-1.5g before bed. (gf 0.7g)
I herd of 0.5g and of 5g .
curious what the avrg amount it you guys use?

around 5 grams works great for me! You get that very relaxed feeling and get to sleep quick and stay in a deep sleep with higher dosages around 5g.

helps me sleep a lot better! I feel much more rested when I take it...even if I don't get a full night's sleep...and I'm the type that needs a good 8 hours or I'm a zombie the next day.

Well I tried 4 grams last night for the first time.I am a lite sleeper at the best of times and i expected to go to sleep fairly quickly after taking that amount.But it did not happen.At first I did feel a relaxing sensation come over me,then a slight funy feeling in my fingers,and a funny dry taste in my mouth.Now to be fair when I finally fell asleep a couple hours later I did feel i had a better sleep,even though I woke up 3 times during the nite.I wiegh in at 270lbs,6 foot3,and at 53 years old I need all the help i can get for restful sleep and HGH release.I will try 5 grams to nite.I had no shortness of breath issues.

You may find that after taking it for some time it may get a little better. But, judging by the fact that you feel a little more well rested it seams like it does have affect on on you. You may also want to try some ZMA as well. I take both before bed and it must be on an empty stomach!

Also, I know when I'm laying in bed expecting to fall asleep or trying to fall asleep and concentrating on that fact, you never do fall asleep....i know that happens with me.

Well that sucks. I'll have either a protien with some oil for slow absorbtion or a big bowl of cottage cheese before bed. I don't think i'd be able to sleep on an empty stomach.

i like two calcium / magnesium / zinc tabs with a 3mg melatonin. it seems to help a bit.

i might try GABA if you guys think it works that well.

Calcium shouldn't be taken around the same time as ZMA

I hear ya bro, but for me the benefits I get from GABA+ZMA out weight the benefits of eating right before bed.

I have my last meal (shake) of Micellar casein, oats, and omega-3 softgels around 1-2 hours before I hit the sack so it's not like I'm completely depleted before bed.

Calcium shouldn't be taken around the same time as ZMA

its not a ZMA tablet. its a calcium / magnesium tab that has zinc in it as well. i know it says on ZMA bottle labels not to take with calcium....kinda unavoidable in this case though...

well 2.5g was ok i think last night.
Its not liek when i take KAVA KAVA that i FEEL , this is more mild but when i wake up i DO feel liek i slept better.

3g to night and see.

also taking gabba with kava kava or canabise (by script not illegal talk here) has any one herd of this?
is it bad?
pref the canabis and gaba.

I hear yea.To nite i will break the 5g barrier and see what happens.I did 4.5 grams last nite with no differance from the 4grams.to nites will be 5.25 grams.Maybe because of my body wieght i need a little more,if that has any bearing on its overall effect.Or maybe the overall effect may be the same with just 2 grams.We will see.

Well I changed things up a bit last nite after i posted above.I took 3grams about 2 hours before i went to bed and another 4.5 just before bed.Effect was less dry mouth and a fairly good sleep.Woke up once to Pee.Sleep was better then usual,but i would not say really deep style with intense dreams as some have suggested here had happened.I suspect with a lot of younger bodybuilders here then myself and more GH release in thier systems, may have a lot more effect on thier sleep and dreams.
To nite i am going to back off with just 3grams and see what happens.The product i use comes in 750mg plastic capsiles and if i want 5 grams or more i feel like I am swallowing enough plastic and becoming Tupperware.LOL

I took 3gr. last night, had intense sex with the wife, head was tingly, had shortness of breath and slept like a baby. Stuff really does work :D
