There should be a law against veganism.

The best probiotic is VSL#3. Only one that has been tested in clinical studies. There is something like 100 billion probiotics in each pouch.

I talked to my GI and he was telling me that yogurt and "normal probiotics" are just a waste of money. Main reason he told me was that in an ounce of shit there is about 3 trillion bacteria, adding something like 10billion bacteria for your whole gut is just not worth it.

VSL#3 is is a bit more expensive though, but so worth it. It has been one of the only things that is natural that has controlled my UC in less than 2 weeks (other things take a lot longer).

IW, if you are going to use it to control gas and bloating one of the bigger packages should be good for about a month for you. Its cheaper to order it from their website.

Where did you get your grass fed beef from?
And are the eggs free range? Or eggs and breasts have to be?

Found a few places off eatwild.com
Damn chicken breasts are expensive. $12.90/lb. Aren't those large 4kg boxes on sale, come out to like $2.99/lb, I'm pretty sure.

i think i saw this stuff at costco in the dairy section. i was looking for bulk cottage cheese and stumbled across this and didn't know wtf it was. if someone tries it out, please report back on your experience. I don't remember the macro breakdown on it, but will check it out next time now that I know more about what this stuff actually is.

I read it. I don't want to go full out with his suggestions, but I wouldn't mind adding the chicken and beef. I actually rarely eat beef, maybe once a week. 3 of 6 meals are shakes, with oatmeal. 1 is cottage cheese. And the other two are usually chicken breast. I would never recommend 3 shake meals to anyone, but middle of summer I was starting to get lazy, and relied on shakes, and that with a couple other changes, I got in my best shape ever, so there is no reason for me to change it.

I found this price, and the price for chicken breast is not too bad $7.50/lb.

Now is that fair enough to be called free range? Look at the pic, doesn't look like they can even move, lol, but in the description they say they have enough room to even fly a little lol.

So with the beef and whole eggs, are you adding a lot more fat to your diet then?

Muskate I was looking for you and had a hard time.

Has some BC places listed, you may have to phone them. Odd that Alberta is not on there.

there's not much raw milk in alberta. i found a place that's in bc and willing to ship edmonton, but i'm worried this will be very expensive.

Ironwill, how have you results been working with john? I'm starting with him dec.1

In regards to the coconut kefir. it's really easy to make so i'm just going to make it myself. you dump some coconut milk and kefir culture into a yogurt maker (theyre like 50 bucks) and wait and a day, and you have coconut kefir.
