historically, i have had for gf's:
2 molested (at least...2 told me... prob all were molested though... girls have it tough when they are 8yo)
2 raped
2 medicated... 1 for panic attacks and 1 for depression
1 sex addict
ummmm 1 alcoholic (bad alcoholic... black out and fight alcoholic)
all sorts of shit....

I have only had 2 serious girlfriends in my lifetime (dated one for 2 years and one for 4 years). The pattern I have saw is that they both didnt have moms. The first ones mom was alive but didnt live with her or really talk to her and was an alcoholic / drug addict. The second gfs mom died when she was 3. I dont know if this a pattern or a coincidence.

I wouldn't say I have a thing for them but am drawn to them. Being damaged myself I somehow think (subconsciously) that if I can help them then I am helping myself as well.
It does not work and just causes more issues.

I think everyone has some kind of "damage". What's important is how the damage was/is dealt with and if the person can move on.

My serious relationships were with damaged girls..
All three of them were damaged from there previousl relationships.. bad I mean, like sick (...) long story, but I am not playing this up
Was engaged to a bad ass damaged women... depression, commitment issue ( lol, yeah I know), some serious illness, kid, crazy ex who threatened to kill himself, major insecurity.. anger management issues ( she threatened to kill me, ruin my life etc.. the sad thing is, she knows the poeple that could)..YOu obvioulsy see things always different once its done, but she ****ed me up for my future relationships, that for sure

Not all girls are "damaged" in some way actually!
Ive had both types...
One girl whos parents beat her as a kid and then her dad was cheating on her mom while growing up... she ended up being one of those girls who was CONSTANTLY looking for attention/validation from both me and other guys.. got her into counselling but other than that couldnt help her much... it got annoying to be constantly keeping tabs on her
Another girl who literraly had NO issues.... I was her first bf so no previous relationship baggage... she was smart, in school, perfect loving family, always did nice shit for me, always there for me even when I was a jackass.... fack whatd id do for her back... never know what you got till its gone! by then its too late. what a ****ed up world.

yea i do cheat on girls, but i also treat them like pure gold.
im a very obessive person, and i also dont have a solid "image" of who I AM, and over the years that has allwed me to learn to listen and interpret the subconscious needs of girls so i automatically change my behaviour to suit the personality type of any girl. i give the illusion of the PERFECT boyfriend, and thats because i am very aware of what effect my actions have on her feelings towards me.
my last two girlfriends told me they 'love' within a two or three weeks of us dating, and those relationships were probably the longest i've had. one of those girls and I slept together every night for 6 months straight, 180 days straight no exaggeration, where i went she went and vice versa. the one night i didnt sleep with her it was becasue i was eating E's like candy and ****ing the girl i was having an affair with in a dirty hotel room.
current example, i started seeing a new girl about a week ago. shes a h-core tomboy at heart (with about 70 kilos of emotional baggage - my fave), so ive started to change my personality again to suit those needs. yesterday, she came over and was a TOTAL BITCH - cold shoulder, one word answers, no physical contact. wheras the night before she was up till midnight txting she already missed me even tho we spent the entire day together. that threw me off, im not used to going 1 step forward and 5 steps back. today we were talking and she said she figured out why she was being like that, her defense mechanism had kicked in because i had made her feel too comfortable around me. this is the girl i made the original post about.
back to the question of how i "save" girls... i give them everything they ever wanted since they watched ariel the mermaid as little girls. i give them stability, encouragement, humor, emotional support, sexual satisfaction, basically the song whatever you like, except not to such a huge scale. i give them a taste of what meeting the perfect guy would be like.
im not trying to sound high and mighty here. im embarrased that im so insecure i still dont know WHO I AM, and that i need to change constantly to have girls appreciate me.

think about what you just wrote there. im not trying to justify my actions or why i do them. if a girl was amazing to me and treated me like a million bucks, why would i ever even have the notion that she was doing something behind my back. how does anyone EVER know that their significan other is truly faithful? im not saying theres no truly honest people in this world, i just have yet to meet any of them, male or female.

why do i bother being in a relationship? because i have needs that social relationship satisfies. i like sleeping next to the warm naked body of a sexually satisfied girl every night. i like seeing the smiles on their faces when i cook them a 3 course dinner after going on a long walk by the water with my cute ass ****ing dog. i like hearing the words "no one has ever done that for me before". i like to see them smile when i bring a bouquet of flowers for her mom at the first dinner. i genuinely like making girls happy.
i'm not the first person to break their hearts. i wont be the last either. do i go out looking for pussy when i already have it? no, i never have, it finds it way to me.

I read your post and know exactly what you are talking about. There is a lot of pleasure in giving a woman everything she could ask for and the gratitude they give you in return. I too seem to bend myself to suit the relationship that I am in.
The only problem is that after say a year of doing this I get bored and realize I am not who I want to be or am unhappy (not that I have any clue who I want to be) and end up breaking up with them I feel terrible for hurting them but better it ends then I continue pretending to be some one I'm not.
Only problem is I seem to fall back into doing the same thing with the next one.
