at the end of the month i am going to be catching a plane to visit family for christmas so i can't bring much with on the plane. this brings me to my question. seeing as how i wont be able to bring my protein powder with me, and i wont be buying any because i will only be there for a week or so and cant bring it on the plane back with me. what can i do so that i can still get the same amount of protein in my diet beside eating more chicken, steak, tuna, etc. Is there anything that anyone has used as a substitute?
Why cant you bring it with you?

You can bring anything you want. Just dont take liquids on the plane. If you think there is going to be a problem just put it in your checked bag.... I've never had any problems.

I took some with me to Mexico last month, no problems to report. So whats the issue?

buy a cheap suitcase, put everything in there, problem solved. if you dont want to bring the entire tub, just scoop in what you'll need for the week into a big freezer bag (and remember to bring the scoop).

that was my initial thought but i get deals on my flight, its kinda like flying standby. im not alound to bring anything but a carry on becasue i have to move fast between flights and might get kicked off of one. there just wont be nearly enough room for anything else. and im not drinking my jiz lol

anyone have any alternatives?
drink someone elses jizz?
if they wont let you bring powder (for whatever reason, which i have done tons of times) bring some bars. i went away on a trip to banff last year and brought 36 protein bars with me, not in my carry on mind you but still. you can easily fit a box or two of protein bars in a carry on with room to spare.
unless you pack like a chick.

thats a lotta protein bars.. i can imagine how expensive that would have been. is there not going to be any health stores where you're going? cuz you could buy a smaller tub.. though i still dont understand why you cant bring powder on with you.. ive only seen liquid mentioned on the banned list.

If you have room for protein bars then you have room for protein powder. Just put it in a Ziploc bag and squeeze out all the air. If you need a shaker cup bring one and roll the Ziploc into the shaker cup.

^^ thats what i used to do to maximize space. the bars werent expensive. i payed $5 for 3 boxes of bars lol.
they were 18 months past the sell by date. tasted fine though.

Bluesteal: What priority are you flying?
Do you or an immediate family member work (or worked for an Airline and has since retired?)
This process you speak of, I've never heard of any restrictions being placed on a Standby passenger at any priority. (Buddy Passes incl...)
I take it, you've gotten a Buddy Pass from a Friend/Family member and he/she has requested that you fly light and dress appropriately?
Unless you’re flying on a Float plane or a Cessna aircraft, shuttling a passenger as you’ve described is considered a critical deviation from a security standpoint. (Since 9/11 that is)
That is.. Unless you are a secret agent assigned to kill the Prime Minister of Malasia!!!??

When I travelled to Victoria BC, I simply emptied my protien into a large ziplock bag and had no problems at all, it was also in my check in bag. It flattens right out just liek a shirt...
