...that is all.

please don't tell me there is something bad about eating them raw, because i can't bare to eat the things cooked! not sure how many have tried them (probably everyone and i look like a dink), but they are surprisingly mild raw.

i cannot stomach the things cooked in any way. i tried my best by making them cottage cheese stuffed (because i love cottage cheese), but not even that could do it for me. my uncle told me the other day how good they were raw *he also likes buckley's so i was hesitant to say the least haha...but i tried them raw today and now I can finally get them into me...makes meal planning a hell of a lot easier now.

I like cutting them like fries and baking them . I will cover them in egg whites so they get a bit crispy.

the enzymes will be fully intact when you eat them raw as well. switching to a raw diet is unbelieveably good for you in many ways. eat as much raw food as you can handle and you might even grow faster :)

so i have read....

i love raw veggies...there are too many people who don't. my favourite food is actually asparagus (as horribly nerdy as that is). my parents both grew up on or around family who had a farm so eating vegetables was something that was routine for me even though i'm a "city boy".

peas in the pod, wax beans, radishes straight from the garden = the best! when we get our own place i'm putting in a garden for sure...keeps winter grocery bills down when none of the veggies are in season...

the problem is that as an adult I've eaten too much at old mcdonald's fatty farm!!!!

im not sure if this is true or not, but i heard the glycemic index goes up for baked potatoes so would it also go up for sweet potatoes, better to boil them i think.

Cut into fries, put in huge bowl. Add a couple tbsp of olive oil, add seasoning salt, tbsp or two of spicy mustard, chili powder, red pepper flakes and bake. Not crispy like fries, but they are so damn good.

I like them because they`re low glycemic and when cooked are very easy to eat and they don`t need butter to taste good.
