I pitched in baseball for about 10 years and as a result my right bicep is way stronger and noticeably bigger than my left bicep. It's a real pain in the ass because I find myself over compensating with my right side any time i'm using a barbell. It's also a pretty big buzz kill not being able to lift the same weight with both arms!
What tips can you give me to help my left arm catch up to my right arm?
...i'm not talking about "rub it out with the left arm instead"! ahaha...that's more of a forearm workout, anyways!!!!

dumbells
increase weight and lower reps on weak side?
decrease weight on weak side and go until failure?
lower right side to equal left side?
i thought more work with dumbbells would work, just am not sure of how to use them effectively to get my left arm caught up.

you can force your reps on the weak side by using the strong arm to assist, so for a period of time, you will be working the weak side harder then the strong
equal weight bo0th sides, force reps on weak

... or you can just work out normally with your weak arm limiting your lifts until they match. The may never actually match in size as most of us have different biceps but they will match in strength of their own accord if you just lift as much with your left side as you do with your right.
