Anyone ever order any products from China before? Whats the chance it be stopped by Canadian Customs?
Must be very high now,but if the pack is small might get through, but i wouldn't take the chance.

What happens if they do take it. You just lose out?

depends on the size of the pack. if its personal use like a few items, they would just take it and maybe send u a seizurte letter. if its a huge order, they could send it thru and contact the local fuzz and open a investigation or they could seize it. either way its not worth the risk.

Agreed, after raw deal international packs haven't been getting through for me. I've heard that packs are most likely to get checked by customs is they originate from Mexico, China, Poland, and (as I have experienced) India. Stuff from western Europe gets in easier.

Take it from me having wasted over $1000 ordering internationally. Don't even try. I have even tried paperbolics which were suppose to be custom proof and they got seized. You won't get a seizure letter because they know it can be used to have the order shipped again.

Don't **** around with shipping from China, 80% of the time they'll catch it.

Waste of money and risk of getting caught for importing. Not worth it.

Even if your source does re-ships, it is usually contingent on a seizure letter. I've never once gotten a seizure letter.

So the consensus is China = bad but western Europe might be ok?
What would be considered a small order? It's hard to find my favourite colour of tick tacks locally.

It seems cheaper over ordering domestic. Not looking to spend my life savings right now.
I just wonder how all this shit gets into the domestic persons hands. They must have to order from overseas to get something like Gh.

I hardly doubt anyone especially a source is going to answer this question.....
Spend the extra money and order domestic...why bother with the stress by trying to make it past customs/cops knocking at your door possibly/ and the higher chances of you getting ripped off/scammed!

some of the prices look good, but on smaller orders you often have to remember:
1) currency exchange
2) shipping costs
3) payment costs (western union etc)
4) the cost of insurance (if you buy it)
5) as soon as you get a seizure your savings go right down the toilet even if youve had a few lucky ones get through
6) so many scammers and so much bogus stuff out there
7) possible (although unlikely) costs associated with legal fees, lost time at work, fines, etc.
again, if you just want a few of these and one of those than it isnt worth it at all!

Where its coming from probably dictates how thoroughly its inspected. My first order was from Thailand, Bangkok. I think if Canada Post saw any conspicuous pack from Bangkok they would give it a second look. Although my cousin ordered from there and got 1/2 his shit. It's hit or miss.
