I have been bulking for about 8 weeks now. The progress is great but I am starting to get burnet out from all the heavy lifting. I even upped my calories the last week and a half and gained more muscle but my body is getting too tired. I just had two days off from the gym and I still feel tired. The last bulking cycle was the same at about 8 weeks I was just getting burnet out. I did a 3 week light cut, dropped 6lbs and when I started doing heavy again I was stronger then before even though I was lighter. Any suggestions? How long do you guys bulk for? I am doing this naturally so is it normal to get burnet out after 8 weeks?

Its essentially what you did before. On a deload you are letting your CNS take a break and get in some much needed active recovery, you basically do light to medium volume workouts with 40-60% of your max weights for a week or so.

i agree with the deload, i as well incorporate that in my routines every second week. i just go more reps with lighter weight. it helps with not getting burnt out. just listen to your body. keep motivated

When I am bulking I do 2-3 warm up sets and 3 working sets for my initial exercise which is my hardest one ie. deads, squats, bench press and military press, all my other ones get 1 warm up and 3 working set. All together I try no to do more then 12 working sets per big body part. My workouts are approximately an hour per body part.
I started deloading yesterday and I already feel better. It's funny when you go back to light weights how light they feel. I did bench press with a plate today and did 20 reps and could have done another 20 easy but I just thought set of 40-50 reps is pretty stupid so I just upped the weight.
I decided to cut down my carbs now that I am deloading and lifting lighter for two weeks. I am between 250-300g per day and was 400-450g. Everything else is the same 100-120g of fat, 300-350g of protein. You guys think this is a good idea or should I stick with eating as much as I did when I was bulking?
