french keyboard

why does this site always hijack my windows setting for my keyboard and make it french?

Off the top of my head I think ctrl + shift does it.
I deleted the french from my computer so it doesn't happen anymore.

** edit. It was alt + shift.

Control panel > Regional and Language > Keyboards and Languages
Change keyboards
Advanced key settings
Between input languages - Change key sequence > Not assigned

You can delete the french in there too. But if you just don't assign the keys to change it, you should be okay.

Can't be the site as the code in a web browser won't allow to change the language settings on a computer unless you install a component that would allow it. That typically happens when you see the install activex bar.

I have the same problem though as if I click ctrl+shit by accident, my keyboard changes to french.
