Booking a trip

When booking a trip do you guys usually go through a travel agent or just do it on a travel site yourself ?

We going to be going to Mexico and I've got a travel agent looking for us as well as looking online for ourself ( epedia , sell of vactions...etc ) but with the travel agent we can earn air miles and honestly it doesn't look like much price difference.

i've done expedia a couple of times to the riviera side. it worked well enough, for the all inclusives + transport etc.
