Hey guys i was hoping somebody might be able to help me out here. Ive never had any blood work done with regards to my use of AAS and i think following my current cycle it would be a good idea to have it done. I just have a few questions.

1) Who do i go to? Do i go to my regular doctor? do i have to tell them i am using AAS? I would most definately prefer to not have any mention of AAS use in my medical history, as it my adversly effect me profesionlly in the future.

2)What values exactly do i have checked?

3) When is the ideal time to go for testing? Immediaty following the completion of my PCT? A few weeks later?

Any help would be great. Im fully aware that i should have had it done a while ago before i ever started using AAS. Its not that im having any odvious complications, but rather id like to avoid any in the future.

Thanks for taking the time to help

Cheers!

ask for the following to be looked at:

DHEA
AST
Free testosterone

there are others but i cant remember right now and its late.

Dont tell your family doc about the sauce use unless they agree to keep it off the record. literally.

What are the risks of it being on record? Is it not doctor/patient confidentiality?

I plan on going into firefighting in the near future, and as far as i know you have an oblgation to disclose your medical history, and they specifically ask if you have any issues relating to recreational drug use. Other then that, you have to think about life issurance down the road, and id assume that might be something that would have a negative impact in regards to payout if it is documented in you medical history, and they can try to link it to whatever it is that takes you out... You have to remember, nothing is truly confidential. Also, id just rather not disclose my use of AAS to anybody. I never have, never will, and dont see myself doing so in the future unless i have a damned good reason too, its nobodys buiness but mine...

^^^ yup and it can be done if you talk to them. Just don't admit nothing right away.

Here's the convo me and me doc had and how I get bloodwork:

I walk into the office and he says......

Doc: Gicantor, you look bigger since I saw you last. I have to ask you, have you used anabolic steroids?

Me: It depends.

Doc:On what?

Me:On weather your going to write it in my chart. If you are, then no.

Doc:If you don't want me to I won't. Alot of my friends use them so I'm not going to judge you.

Me: Good. So can I get some bloodwork done?

Doc: Is this about the steroids?

Me:Yes

Doc: What do you need........

Now I go whenever I want. Everything off the record.

Yeah my doctor was really good about it, he even told me about androgel ect. He has helped me with all the blood work and told me what things I need to watch for aside from the things I already researched. Even gave me free cialis samples during pct. :a+

yea, i just dont think my doc would be so good about it. I know he wouldnt deny me help, but the whole off the record thing with him might be a bit sketchy. Is there any way around having to go through a doctor to get blood work done. could i go to a lab and ask, then have the results mailed to me or pick them up? wishfull thinking perhaps? lol

by the way thanks for the response
good lookin out brotha

Nah you can't do that. You need a Requisition writen out by a doc to get bloodwork. Shit the lab won't even give me the results they said get it from the doc's secretary.

Oh and to be honest, I thought my doc was going to flip right out on me cause he hated the fact I was taking protein when I was 16. But with this, he was cool about it lol. Just try.
