My kids just love this stuff!!
Makes 1 Kid Sized Serving (11g protein)

Ingredients:
2 egg whites (large eggs)

1/4 cup Quaker 1 minute oatmeal
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
2 tsp brown sugar
fat free cooking spray

Toppings or Dipping:
Maple syrup
Unsweetened Apple Sauce

Instructions:
Whisk together egg whites, oatmeal, cinnamon and sugar. Pour mixture into non stick frying pan (use cooking spray if necessary) and cook over medium heat until bottom of pancake is brown. Flip and cook other side until done. Pour maple syrup over top or better still use Apple Sauce as a dip. Enjoy!

Makes 1 Mom Sized Serving (30g protein)

Ingredients:
6 egg whites (large eggs)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup Quaker 1 minute oatmeal
1/4 tsp splenda
fat free cooking spray

Instructions:
Same as above.

Makes 1 Dad Sized Super Healthy Body Builder Serving (36 g protein)

Ingredients:
8 egg whites (large eggs)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup oat bran (I use Quaker)
no sugar or sweetener
fat free cooking spray
1tsp flax seed

Notes:

I always try to minimize the use of sugar and maximize the use of cinnamon. Cinnamon is especially beneficial as it regulates blood sugar. Adjust your recipe to your taste and nutritional requirements. Never give children artificial sweeteners.

Egg whites can be eaten every day as long as they are cooked. They are a complete protein.

my son's favorite foods are broccoli, eggs / whites, and protein shakes. He's barely a year old.

Hope there is nothing wrong with him having shakes! But every time I turn on that blender he cries until i give him a few spoonfuls of what he probably thinks is ice cream.

Ok just tried this recipe and I got some nasty crepes. Definantly not my favorite. I'll stick with using protein powder as the base. And baking powder so they rise.

Men in the kitchen.... too funny!! he he

Make sure you whisk the ingredients together, so you get fluffy pancakes. Try using the kids version first... using less egg whites and more oatmeal so you learn how to make them right.

When you are proficient, adjust the recipe to meet your nutritional requirments. Take your time and have fun cooking. You can also bake the batter in the oven and make cupcakes.

I like to sneak pumpkin in too. All the kids at the preschool love it.

You sound just like my 4 year old daughter. Thank you for reminding me that presentation is very important to children. You can make your pancakes pretty by adding fruit. Banana happy face, strawberry eyes and maple syrup hair (or applesauce afro) all make for healthy, fun eating. Even the pickiest 2 year old will love it.

Giving children protein powder is not advisable. Children need high quality, nutrient dense natural food.

Giving children whiskey is not advisable either but it sure does help them sleep :D

why would you be feeding your child an eggo waffle anyway?

Not a valid argument.

That's why we drink a lot of water. Move that fiber through the plumbing.

Insoluble Fiber

Prevents and treats constipation
Keeps digestive running smoothly
Protects against obesity, heart disease and type 2 diabetes
Soluble Fiber

Whisks away cholesterol before it's digested
Stabilizes blood sugar levels in children

I wouldn't give very young children egg whites. I didn't introduce eggs to my kids before a year old. Follow the schedule your doctor gave you.

Egg allergy is more common among infants than adults, and most children will outgrow it by the age of five. Allergic reaction against egg white are more common than reactions against egg yolks.

here is my version on protein pancake

-1 generous table spoon of peanut butter( i use power butter)
-1/3 of wheat cream
-1 scoop of choco protein(i use pvl whey maxx)
-1 jumbo egg

mix all the above ingredient together,ad in some flour if you wish and water depending on how tick you like your pan cake

cook at med~high(7/10)
-spray the pan
-put the mix inside the pan
-~30seconde each side or as you like
-add cinnamon

it look and eat more like a galette than a pan cake, they must be roughly 450-470 calories for ~41g of protein.
