Hey Guys and Girl
well i am new to using supplements.
I am about 130 LBS, slim, and about 5'8. i do not have a problem with building muscle, but i wanted to try a supplement.
I bought Dymatize Nutrition Energized Xpand Nitric Oxide Reactor Pre workout formula. It has Explosive energy, perpetual pump, muscle volumizer, vascularity-strength. ( that is off of the front of the box ).
i am pretty toned right now, i have my 6pack, and my arms are pretty big.
i just want something to help with muscle building, for example i want a body like usher as gay as that may sound, but its not HUGE its toned.
is this stuff good or sound i bring it back, i picked it up from GNC, and for a 820G bottle it was $75 :eek: . its powder...

Eat a lot of high protein foods and take a protein supplement besides your regular workouts. You don't need anything else than that to grow at your age.

so you say no to creatine and all of these muscle building supplements.
ou you recommend me taking the xpand stuff back and picking up protein stuff? if so what would you recommend?

if I were you I would return it for some protien, because no amount of supps will do anything if you nutritional needs are not met.
train hard
eat clean and frequent (6 meals a day)
take in 1 -1.5 grams of protien per pound u weigh (split throughout meals)
drink plenty of water
and get enough sleep

I did creatine for a stretch of 3 months in my whole bodybuilding time. It worked but I retained water. I didn't like the results. Now the only supp I take is a good protein. You can try creatine and see how it works for you but anything else and you are wasting your money at your age.

I totally agree wiht whats above, if you can stick to a high protein clean diet then you'll look like usher ;) , try to avoid salesmen at nutrition stores most of them dont know what they're talking about.

yea these guys got it right....... train hard, eat right, protein up..... give creatine a try see what it does for you...... live and learn man its what we have all been doing.....

put me down in agreement dump supplements for protein and food. maybe addd iin multivit. train hard eat good rest good. buy some bigger shirts your gonna needem if you do all that

u are 130lbs and u say u build muscle easily??? how would u know at 130lbs? not trying to knock u man, but lets be realistic.
as suggested above, start eating 6 times a day. easiest way i tell people to look at it is, breakfast,lunch supper and a snack between each one. snack could be anything from a handful of nuts, to a protein shake and a apple. also have a weight gain or protein with fruit added after workouts.
as of right now u dont need creatine, return it, and buy some protein powder or a weight gainer or both. avoid weight gainers that are mostly sugar. use something like mutant mass, cytogainer, quickmass.
if u really want to gain weight, take 2scoops weight gainer before bed when your metabolism is at iots slowest. yes u will put on some fat, but at 130 lbs who gives a shit.
calorie wise u should be around 200g protein (800cals), 260-400g carbs(1040-1600) and fats around 100g but should come from healthy fats only or whats in the food u eat.
if ya need a better breakdown as to what to eat, just ask as there are countless guys on this site that can help u with that
