Anyone ever have a weight loss (well fat) competition with their gf? We're about to embark upon one and I wondered what a good idea would be for the winner? Just a little extra ambition for the both of us...

I think we're going to do a short term comp (most loss in 2 months), and then a long term comp in which we meet our overall goals (who can do it first).

Ideas?

Dinner, a weekend getaway, fantasy of choice... I dunno what's the price range!?... good idea though. Just make the award something actually worth winning therefore something else to work hard for. Don't get competitive with her, instead be encouraging and push each other. Once again, great idea and good luck!

oh ps... no matter how much weight she loses never tell her, suggest, or even come close to the topic that she looks better then before. Encourage health, but always let her know that she is beautiful whether a few pounds heavier or lighter, but hopefully the latter.

Cheers!

Dr. Phil, is that you?! haha jk man...

we were thinking it was going to be something major...like paying for a cruise or something, but there is no way i could let her pay for that if I won...and if i go in with that mentality, i'm not going to do myself any good.

flights in canada aren't too bad i don't think (probably less than a cruise?). is there anywhere really nice in canada that is one of those places you "have to see before you die"?

fantasy of choice? for some reason I can't seem to get ahold of jessica beil, and the gf isn't into threesomes...not only that but i don't like the idea of disappointing 2 women simultaneously! hahaha (stole that from robert schimel...think that's his name)

I'd keep the prize not monetary...Let's say you end up staying with this girl forever, then what is the difference who pays for what?

Iv had a 6 pac comp with my GF before. Our prize was $100 bucks.. not too much.. but just enough to not want to loose! And i told her every week that she was looking better and loosing fat..that kept her motivated and driven. Im totally honest with my girl, and i dont see any reason why you shouldnt be able to tell them if they are up or down a few lbs... id expect her to say the same thing to me ( which she has before! )
