What does test make you feel like? I hear about people getting depressed going through PCT so I imagine being "on" makes you feel really good. Does it give you more confidence or something?

I know it makes you stronger and the ability to put on more muscle. What are the psychological effects?

Another Q,

What are some health risks if you have low testosterone? I may have, and would like to know some risks so I can bring them up with the doctor if she doesn't know much about it.

Making appointment on Monday. If they come up super low they will have to give me TRT won't they? My doctor is very old school, so I'm doubting she would, but if I can bring up stuff that would put me in danger it might shed some reasoning. I gotta make it look like I'm not fishing.

Being on is a great feeling and I definitely have more confidence. The more I talk about it makes me want to crack a vial of TNT or Test I have sitting in my room lol. I have to wait a while though to get back on. TRT is serious business though, dont forget its for the rest of your life.

If I was at a health risk though TRT pros would outweigh the cons. I'm looking for stuff like strokes, heart attacks. I remember some stuff brought up in Bigger Stronger Faster about having low levels of test being extremely bad for you.

Test makes me feel great. Everything is better. It's like you're more alive. If you get HRT don't let them push Andriol or that gel on you. You can't get stable levels with andriol and the gel is a pain in the ass. When I was in BC my normal levels were low so they put me on gel first, then andriol and it's nothing like injects. You don't even feel a difference so I just got some UG test and started cycling. After this cycle I'll see if I can find a decent HRT Doc in Ottawa.

The gel would be better than nothing though right?

Better than nothing but no comparison to injects. That's why I tossed it and went UG. My doctor wasn't informed enough about using HG injects. She even thought Andriol would be hard on my liver. I just think it's important to find a doc who has experience with HRT if you can.

It's hard to get a doctor nowadays, I guess if things don't pan out I can ask to be referred to a specialist.

You do not need a referral. PM sent.

GL cheese
only reason i found out was that i did bloodwork that included a testosterone screening prior to going ON for the first time in over 10 years (first real cycle too as my last one way back was too uninformed and incorrectly executed.)
two weeks later the bloodwork looked awesome except for the low test
another testosterone check was ordered including free and bio-available
two weeks later everything is confirmed, i have the levels of a 60 year old. yay.

depression, low sex drive, soft lil'guy, fat storage, low bone density, and many more that i am forgetting are all characteristic of low test.

I have all of that. Andre was saying maybe my ED is caused by low test.

wrong

Yeah, let's be careful singing the praise of testosterone.

Cheese, being prone to depression, I would strongly recommend against using extragenous hormones without doctor supervision..

Aside from HRT levels, using bodybuilding levels of test (i.e. 500 mg /wk) is something you should only do in my opinion when everything else in your life is in order..

If your doc is hesitant on Rx'ing you test and your levels are low ask to see an endocrinologist. Low test levels are more than just low sex drive...could lead to possible coronary problems. Gel is garbage. Ask for injectable. If you have to go to a clinic or into the doc's office to get a shot do that. But make sure it's not forever. Who has the time or money to go to the doc's office 1x per week. 100mg per week is a typical dose (although that is low).

yes.

tell cheesesteak how test will change his life. He has a lot of issues that testosterone supplementation won't even come close to helping him with so how exactly will it change his life?

fyi: change comes from within. Not from an injection or a pill.

post # 15 (http://www.canadabodybuilding.com/forums/showpost.php?p=286750&postcount=15)

better mood/more energy, better sex drive, improved shape/lower BF/more mascular (considering he's on a good diet trainning), higher confidence AND he actually told he had ED

this might not solve all his problems but will help GREATLY

but it won't change the number one reason he has which is his mind. Until he learns to change himself from the inside out the other things are just masking the real problem.

I'm not saying it won't help him but to suggest it will change is life is not an accurate statement.

|Like I said I don't disagree that it will help him. It's just not going to "change his life".

, Well, Cheese has a bit more of an issue than his mind, Some of his issues have affected his mind, yes definitely, but they are much different than being in his headunless he has shared his story and medical situation specifically with you, you arent aware of why his mind is the way it is...so lets stop guessing here ok..., .........
So far he is not going to be advised by myself to be on test, just so we are aware, hes not going to be turning into a test freak....While being advised by me anyways.........He is a big boy free to do what he wants, just if he goes that route , it wont be with me, i think he is aware of that, and just asking questions for future reference......
he is however going to a doc and getting a full spectrum of bloodwork done, and going to be eating much better, and training in a routine fashion which will be helping him out....myself or no-one on this site can help out Cheesesteaks issues.......We can work around certain obstacles, and achieve great results, and then the obstacles will be minute in comparison to the positive changes occuring....
So I just wanted everyone to know, testosterone is not in any of the plans i have for quite awhile yet, lots to do prior to this happening......
But the bloodwork must be done so we know what we are up against.....

Cheese....
You dont need anything special cheese, no stories, no bullshit, the bloodwork basic should be free, except the free test and psa values....., as i said before via pm, get the appointment first...One step at a time bro, then i will let you know what exactly to ask for and the doc and you can decide if other things need to be done...

well good luck with what ever way you decide to go bud, I know I had more than the norm share of issues myself, but like iw said its one day one prob at a time, just gotta be a hard nose mother ****er like myself and get through it all with your chin down head up and fists cocked ha :)
