OK as mentioned earlier.. My practise shots with B12 are going very well. However I am not sure if I am performing the aspiration portion properly. Especially with B12 since its a red solution.

I guess what I am asking is how far or how hard do you aspirate? Even if using B12 would you see blood (a much more thicker solution) enter the needle if hit a blood vessel?

Thanks

just gotta pull back a touch and keep an eye on it, you'll be able to notice fore sure yes....where are you injecting?

imo it would be impossible to see the blood with b12, so i dont bother anymore.... BUT its always good practice to aspirate for when you start doing the real stuff.

once you start using oil and aspirating, if you're in a vein, there will be no doubt

on over 300 pins ive only had blood in syringe maybe 5-7 times

the bubble of air is obvious. I usually aspirate 0.2cc.

Gymbrat I am injecting in the quads and so far no problems. I am going to try the glutes next. Freeked out about hitting the sciatic nerve..lol.. but yes I know the outer quadrant is far away from the sciatic but still from a bro with fear of needles the first time is always nervous and freaky.

Ohhh and Bros if you do get blood in the syringe do you pull out and change the pin or do you just come out and find another location beside it using the same needle.

Sorry for the neebie question.. But I would rather look stupid NOW than look very stupid later..

yeah quads are fine if your doing fine with them bro, and if you see blood in the case I just pull out a bit aspirate again and continue with the injection.

good luck man :)

Blood is a lot darker than the B12 . You would be able to tell.
