View Full Version : Cheesesteak encouragement/sponsorship thread

So it seems the whole site is coming together to encourage cheesesteak and help him achieve his goals. I thought why not join in on it in my own way.
I was speaking with Andre about the situation earlier and together with him, we came up with a way to encourage cheesesteak. We'll give him a small sponsorship.
I forfeited the advertising fee Andre would pay me this month and he is throwing in his own sponsorship with mine and we are offering cheesesteak $100 worth of MVP supplements shipped to his door.
(For my other sponsors, I know some of you would have liked to be part of this but it's just the way it happened this month. I was just made aware of cheesesteak's situation this morning.)
In return, cheesesteak will make a log on the protein and how it goes.
As for the rest of cbb, you guys/gals really came together. I was surprised how some of you really offered up genuine words of encouragement and advise. Even to those that usually do the opposite. That is what I had always wanted from the work I put in to give you a site like CBB. Today you all made me proud so I am doing my little part to help out too. Good on you CBB.

I'm very greatful for this and trust me, I'm gonna be training like a maniac. I take it as serious as a job, being sponsored. Me and IW have a lot of work to do. He's gonna be working 1 on 1 with me during this.
I need to talk with Andre about what the log will entail.
I feel so much better now. This is like a dream come true to me. To actually be able to say that I am sponsored. Sure brings my confidence up.

Good stuff guys....I am very happy to see this coming along, it is more than i had hoped for when i put the thread up for sure.....Cheese has said he wants to work under my guidance....I am happy he reached out to me early in the week and we were able to as a group help a fellow warrior out when he is at his lowest...
The biggest thing i had hoped for was to see him stop being bugged for a short while so he could get back on track, this is a great board and good people...Thanks a lot guys...
CC and i are going to be sponsoring him along the way as we are a little more fortunate in that department, we are blessed, and ive always been a giver....I like to pay it forward when i can....
Im not going to advertise the help we will be giving him as it is a private matter but it will be damn good, but he will have many of the things he needs from CC and myself...
BUT we are going to have to see the work being done and ill know if anything is missing , we arent fools....lol....But if he is willing, we are more than willing....
Thanks again folks, this has made me smile very big, and very proud....It has been a goal of mine for awhile to see this board come together on any front, this is the best way possible.......
Pm me when you can cheese and we will get started broheezy...:flagC

I just ordered you 10lbs of whey protein. 5lbs is chocolate and 5lbs is vanilla. Tastes great (even when mixed together) Also it is low carb so it should work with whatever diet IW sets you up with.
I just paid for it now so it will probably arrive Tuesday or Wednesay.. shipping to your address.
Hope this helps towards your goals.

These two videos are my biggest motivation/pick me ups when I got nobody to talk to.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IuueKw1m98
The lyrics are perfect. The video is blood pumping. My fictional hero. Never give up, never surrender, there is no easy way out.... I just wanna go the distance to prove I wasn't just another bum from the neighborhood.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blkg2dAyOWk
This is my favorite movie of the last 10 years. Loved it so much when I first watched it I watched again right away. This scene really hits me. "This is where I belong" that how I feel when I'm exercising. I get the euphoric feeling and it's greater than any drunk I've ever had. Makes me feel confident. The part cut out of that was "The world doesn't give a shit about me". I can relate to that at times. I've said I feel alienated from people, and that scene agrees with me that when I'm in the gym I feel great and it's what I want to do.
Everyone here has been so helpful. I'm overwhelmed. I'm not much of a people person, and hopefully this will help me open up more and not be so afraid to take chances and actually live my life. Before the internet, I was a big people person. But since now I can just interact through a computer, it's taken away a lot of my going out to just meet people. I'm hoping to change that. Baby step, but even going for a coffee somewhere once a day is enough to get out of the house and be somewhere for 30 minutes.
I'm going to the library to see if I can find any self-motivational books to give a read over. I'm not much for fictional books anymore. I like something where I can learn from and use it in my life.

Bro, you are getting a lot of encouragement, because we all have been there....You are as honest, and i mean honest as they come.....hard to not respect that......
You will see, once you get a routine going, things will start to happen for you....I see you have the drive....
You will have this shoot off into many, many other avenues of your life....It goes on and on...
You workout.....you feel great from endorphins, the health benefits alone are unreal....You tear your shit down, and when you are relaxing, eating your postworkout nutrition, you get another great feeling of accomplishment....ou relax after, it feels good, becuse you earned it......you need it to let your body heal and grow......
Your routine suddenly involves cooking, big amnts of food, home made so it is healthy, and affordable, it becomes part of your day.....
You get to go shopping on a regular basis, that part of the routine is fun for me.....Look at ingredients, searching flyers for good deals.....Damn man, its just plain fun....Smile....A LOT, as you get bigger, smile more....seriously, it brings on conversations, it makes people feel at ease, especially in public etc...Because you will get bigger.....Even if you look borderline retarded sometimes, smile anyways....lol....i know i do....
Your confidence grows as you set small incremental goals, and achieve them, you soon realize that you can do things you set your mind to....consistently, but the whole while being realistic.....
Anyway, im repeating some shit i already pmd you, so....get out there bro....

Andre, I would give you a big kiss! I'm so pumped and new diet/training starts this upcoming week. Making appointment on Monday to get bloodwork done. I convinced my dad that if I have low test that I could have a stroke so he's all for paying to find out what all my bloodwork will say. I know I will have to pay because back in January I was gonna get some done but they said it's not covered and I gotta pay. So that's taken care of. My dad isn't the most supportive guy but he is if comes to me having a health problem.
I had bloodwork done few times and it was free. All I needed was a script for bloodwork and wait 2 weeks for results.
Which province CS ?
edit : I don't know the price of test from the drugstore but it shouldn't be that bad. A 10ml vial @ 200mg/week will last you 2 months

It's free for some blood tests but there is a charge if I believe bioavailable testosterone is checked.
5mL of Delatestryl (200mg/mL) costs me $40 at the pharmacy

There is nothing more amazing than seeing fellow warriors picking up a downed comrade and there is no better example of that than what went down on this board. Truly amazing.
This board kicks ass and I knew there was a reason I hit the new post button 10 plus times a day.
The best part is stuff like this is not only for CS. Right now I personally feel like hitting the gym even harder and killing a few more reps.
CSs story will not only help him (I have no doubts you will succeed dude) but its truly inspirational for others.
I can assure you there are lurkers here that will be effected by what went down. There is honestly nothing better than seeing a success story and a full out transformation. The only time I check out sites like bb.com is to look at the photo section and some of the transformations there…its truly motivating and hell now cbb can claim CS as their own.
Dude you stories kill me some very funny shit. Which is why as you begin your transformation your gonna be banging way more chicks which in turns means more great stories for the rest of us…….a win win for all IMO.
The only 360lb thing you will be “picking up” from now on will be on a barbell.
If anything I would like to thank you for the extra boost of inspiration..thanks bro.

Time to hit the gym now. I'm gonna be training in the day now as I don't like the night shift girl. She always cops so much attitude towards me and likes to talk about every member there. I don't like making friends like that at the gym.
So off to start daytime training.

Train whenever is best for you. Like you said, you're not there to make friends and socialize..earphones are a great way to let others know not to bother you. Don't let some bitch influence your schedule.
cheesesteak
13-11-2009, 06:36 PM
That bitch influencing my schedule gave me a much better workout atmosphere today. Wasn't really busy, but there are people around. This enabled me to go heavier and if I got stuck with the weight can have someone pull it off me. When I workout at 3am, nobody is there to do that. Nicer scenery too if you know what I mean.
I got a whole daily routine down now that keeps me with less time on my hands and less time to dwell on little things that shouldn't bother me. I've even noticed a decrease in my posting.

Cheesesteak, you've been given a golden opportunity. If you can pull it off and do a good transformation and get it all together, I think you would make your trainer very proud and the whole of the CBB community. Who knows, maybe there can also be a reward at the end ;)

I have asked cheese not to post it right now....Its not a big secret, im not that smart.....I just put together as much as i could from what ive learned that worked and didnt work over the years,......The reason i dont want him to post it is because we all have our own opinions on what works the BEST...lol....Myself included, i just want cheese to be on one path and if he feels, it isnt working then he can do what he likes, but for now id really appreciate it if he sticks to one thing.......
Traing program will be there by tomorrow afternoon my man, just wicked busy at work right now, so ill get it finished by tomorrow...
Giver cheese...glad you are switching from the night shift, getting a routine going is very important.....Wake up early, get stuff done, have some fun, then kick ass in the gym....eat,,,,have a relaxing evening knowing you had a good day and accomplished some feats, and your rest is making you grow.....
Take a course via the internet, is always fun and a good challenge..

Keep progress pics along the way. I would like to see how the transformation happens. If you can pull this off, you will be an inspiration to a lot of future guys and gals wanting to transform their bodies.

Yeah I'll be doing a journal. Gotta talk with Andre about that and see what he wants entailed with it. Doing product reviews and stuff. I know I have it in me to make the changes because I dropped all that weight already and I barely did shit. Having a 100% focus I can accomplish a lot more.

In a year you'll be glad you took progress pics :) Should you decide a career change.. you will be able to use your pictures and results to sell gym memberships like nobodys business. Cha-ching!

Sad........But wtf can we do....nothing, It was good intentions by some......
Some wait for a trainwreck so they can say ....I KNEW IT....lol...
Do you think we are retarded, we saw the writing on the wall also, but sometimes folks change....
After i saw the truck pictures, i knew it wasnt going to be easy, because you could see the attitude, but the wheels were rolling, and i thought maybe the support he was missing would strengthen him coming from us...
I have helped out many fellas, with major adddictions, and life problems, They got in the gym, got a routine going, straightened their shit out, and now are machines.....doing very, very well...the gym life heals for sure, and strengthens more than the body.....
1st failure for awhile, minor......Usually they make it a few months...lol...
Interesting, it did provide a bit of education though, so it wasnt a total loss....
Peace..

I have a feeling we can discuss this like gents as we seem to always do so... If that`s refering to what I said, I`ll tell you why. People on welfare are not that badly off. Why? Mostly all of them have a job that pays under the table. So add that to the welfarre, they`re ok, to pay for stuff like a gym membership, food and supps. Asking for supps is just a joke.
I know people who hustle others for money (strippers who make up stories to their clients and they often send them money and they repeat the same story to other clients. In the end they sit back and collect a fair amount by doing this) In all honesty, this is how I saw CS especially when the truck story came out. Was I hoping for this to happen? No, but it did and that`s why I`m talking now.

Wasnt referring to you.....Just in general...Lots of people are now saying i saw it, i knew it , etc...i got 1 pm giving me a warning the whole time this was going on....I understand why someone wouldnt post up in the thread any type of negativity, because he would look cruel, but only 1 guy gave a heads up via pm....Im not mad....at all, i dont know if my typping sounds accusational, not in the least........Im a calm dude, my typing should read if you were to put a voice to it, as calm and matter of fact......
Im really dissappointed in cheese....thats all, not anyone else at all.....
Dont really appreciate being called a fool, or needing to open my eyes etc....But that is to be expected on the internet.....No problem......To me it is a copout to say only people can help themselves.....Admittedly i was duped by a loooooong story via email about his life, and i fell for it, and felt appreciative of the fact that someone would be so honest about all the details....But, in the end...It is what it is..
BUT if we sat back and judged who deserves help and who doesnt, it would be a sad affair, I think anyone deserves help that is honest, and open, and sincerely wanting to change...But liars and conartists deserve what they have coming to them, and it will not be good, thats one thing i have peace with....People that give and share, in general are happier, those that take and deceive never are nor will be, they will always be running from something, or someone...
Sorry for long post.....
Im done now...lol...with all of this crap...
