My laptop speakers stopped working....

All of the sudden my laptop speakers dont work at all. I get no sound from anything. When I play music in iTunes, the music wont even start playing like it knows my computer wont let me hear it. Kinda weird.

My computer is an ACER 3050 laptop. Only 2 years old and functions pretty well considering its age and what I payed for it.

Anyone know if I can fix this for free?

Are you sure it's not muted? If not try reinstalling the audio drivers. If that doesn't work then your sound card is probably busted.

I would re-install the drivers as stated above.
