Newbie lifter here from Halifax! I'm a recovering 43 y.o. fattie, 10 mos dieting, and 8 months lifting. Decided to get fit, and after a couple of months of dieting, also decided I'd rather be muscular as opposed to skinny fat. I began with SS until I couldn't add a anymore weight, taking a break and doing a whole body workout 3x week with heavy, med, light days, and 8-12 reps. Anyhow, figured bodybuilders routinely gain and lose weight intentionally, so who better to ask about body recomp!
