So how do you guys perform your squats in terms of ROM.

Partial - almost to paralell

Paralell - quads are paralell to the ground like a right angle

Full Squat - quads are below paralell with your hams on your calves

and how do u perform it high squat, back squat?

I do paralell squats with a high bar.

I go down until it feels right, which is parallel maybe a slight below that. But if it didnt feel right going that low to me I wouldnt go that low.

Well, I'm new to squats... I've been doing full, all the way down.. I thought that's how they're supposed to be performed...

All I know is I ****ed something up doing bulgarian split squats.. my bench is too ****ing high. Doing squats tonight really ****ed it up now... :(

unless you have an injury that prevents full ROM on squats, IMO they should always be done at full extension (ASS TO GRASS).

I see no point in loading up a bench press with a bunch of weight, moving it half way down, pressing it up and feeling like I accomplished anything...

I go wide and deep. I make that hole and go till i can't go no further.

Different styles for different goals for me.

My regular style is parallel low bar, this is the most bang for my buck I feel. I can do more super wide to parallel but that's more of a hip and hamstring squat.

My full high bar olympic squat is generally pretty close to my low bar back squat from a history in oly lifting, I just don't like the way my pelvis tucks in the hole when I get that deep.

If I've got nothing coming up than I go parallel high bar, makes low bar a lot easier when I come back to it.

I just switch it up a lot myself.

Legs a bit wider than shoulder, ass to ground until calves are touching back of thighs. Sure, it reduces the weight I can move, but I get the maximum range of motion I can possibly achieve.

I messed up my right knee by crashing a motorcycle while racing a few times so I can't do it too deep. I used to do it to 90 and parallel but tried sitting on a bench at the bottom which is below parallel and it doesn't bother my knee so that is the way I am doing it from now on.

I box squat on a 10 - 14 inch box, so that makes it below parallel, with my shins perpendicular to the ground. When I front squat I go as deep as possible.

I used to do ATF squats but ran into knee problems (and yes, form was proper) so now I go slightly below parallel and knee's are fine now. Legs are getting bigger and bigger all the time too so this works for me.

rarely do back squats anymore, front squats ass to grass...stopping at parallel is worst for knee injury.

i go down until my form starts to go...so probably just above parallel

Sounds like you are using too much weight.

Until my Hams are parallel to the ground, maybe a lil lower if it feels right!

First off C-Money, bro you have amazing legs:)

For back squats i go ass to grass. When i want to hit mainly quads i go max weight with bar behind neck and only go down till quads are stretched out then i go back up.

It took me a while to get my squat for proper, thank god i did:yeah
