What's The Worst Gym You Ever Worked Out At?

Which place have you been a member of or visited that was the absolute worst gym ever?Dirty,lousy equipment,terrible lockers?I visited Gold's on Yonge St. in Toronto around Christmas 1990.What a hole!The lockers downstairs were the creepiest,darkest ever.Every single locker had been broken into multiple times,lots of dubious characters hanging around doing nothing.And they wouldn't let you bring your bag into the workout area of course,so you had to bring any valuables such as your wallet and phone with you.Terrible place.

my current gym is the worst I have ever seen. Its a community recreation centre. Has a track which is nice, but otherwise... gay as ****. I cant even get into it. Pisses me off too much. Next house will have a gym... put it that way

prob my home gym, it has basically everything but is just too boring to stay motivated everyday. Great for the days I end up missing the gym hrs though I guess ;)

my university gym is pretty horrible as far as respect for the gym goes, weights put back wherever, jeans and polo's in the gym, SANDALS!!!!, cell phones, only 1 squat rack used for 55 pd curls FML

My college only had dumbells and pre loaded barbells going up to 100 for its free weights. The rest of the gym was filled with machines and one smith machine.

My old gym (community center) was terrible. It was full of old people who just wandered around oblivious to anything you are doing, they would just wander into your power rack inbetween sets and lay down to stretch, or start unloading your bench as you are sitting on it. The other half was a bunch of a jacked up 18 year olds who had no idea on how to do anything and were unnecessarily obnoxious.

This was coupled with staff members who would ask you to be quite even if you thought of possibly making a noise exceeding 13 decibels.

Worst gym I ever trained at was the Acquatic Center. Reason being was the atmospher sucked and the gym did not have enough equipment. I only lasted a few months.

St. John New Brunswick, worst gym ever, so many rules it was retarded and very unfriendly staff when they found out i was from the West, lol..

The Gym at Wilfrid Laurier University. I walked in, couldn't believe my eyes, and walked out. It was like something out of the 1950s, pretty much unusable, and a disgrace for a university. I think the football team had an exclusive gym for themselves though. I just stayed at Popeye,s, which wasn't that expensive.

Cigarettes everywhere over there.... the horking on the floor was worse though... only a few people would actually smoke in the gym and we were usually there when only a couple people were there.

They redid it though in the past few years and its not bad now.
