Hi guys

I feel depressed--like shit, I am not able to bodybuild anymore :( Hopefully only temporally but I don’t know.

Just a little background about myself. I am in my late 30's (yes, I am an old ****er insert joke here ___) I have been using AAS on and off for around 17 years now!

I have sustained a serious back injury about 5 months ago in an auto accident and I have had to stop lifting all together :(

I am having a hard time fighting off depression and the 24 hours of pain due to my injury.

I have lost over 35lbs of lean mass in half a year. Let me tell you it took me a lot longer than that to gain it that's for sure.

I have been researching the usage of HGH to aid in recovery time and quality of the healing after surgery. What I have been reading looks very promising.

There is a "wellness clinic" located where I live but obviously they are not covered by medical and cost $1000 just for the consultation, tests such as blood-work etc...

I can go that route or I can take a chance buying HGH black market.

If I go the legit way I know 100% my HGH is pharmaceutical grade and legit as it comes from the pharmacy.

Buying black market I take a risk of being ripped off which would be a double kicker in the ass since I would get no results and it would not help with my recovery from my surgery. I don't think I could take that blow.

Don't get me wrong. I have many sources that I have built trust with over the years but even a good source can be fooled.

I would love to hear from some of the vets on there recent experiences with HGH.

What brand or brands did you use with success? What do you look out for when shopping around. What do you stay away from? I would be so grateful for any advice or input that would help me make a safe buy and help return my quality of life back to what it was.

All I want is to be able to return to my passion of bodybuilding again!!!

I have a back injury as well, and have lost about the same. I have since gained 20 lbs through very strict diet and moderate exercise.

I've also recently re aggrevated my injury with this training. My advice is take your time off and take as much as you need to just deal with the pain. You're in for a psychological fight as well, so take as much time as you need.

Focus on your diet for now, eat perfect. You can still gain with just a perfect diet. Throw in very smart moderate training (forget squats, deadlifts, and other freeweight exercises. MACHINES are your friend, you can train just fine with them) as pain free as possible. The more you 'fight the pain' the more you make your injury worse, and delay healing time.

When the time is right and you can train well, add AAS and keep everything smart. No need to destroy your muscles every time with heavy heavy weights to grow.

Your heavy DB freeweight days are probably over, but just train differently. Train smarter. Look at Jay Cutler.

I don't see the point in getting it legit if its not covered. The market cost of this stuff is usually off the charts because these companies often charge whatever they please (within a certain limit) and they often pay their research and development by jacking up the prices on popular items. If you look around this site and others like bolex and professionalmuscle, you will find great reads on the HGH to stay away from, and the HGH thats great, and you might even wander over to their overseas section...

Yea I have seen some great deals out there on overseas and am thinking about risking it 1.3$ per IU etc...but you have blue tops, green, brown, yellow, swirl tops etc... AARRGGHH!!!! Confusing as hell!!! I just want to know whats the safest bet on getting legit HGH on today's market. Any input would be appreciated.

your best bet would be to find a domestic reputable rep that carries all the top brands of HGH

I am going under the knife in the new year and probably will run GH and maybe another compound to stop bleeding and recovery. It ain't the cheapest stuff but if it gets me in the gym a few weeks quicker it will be worth it.

I will keep an eye on this thread as well. Will be going through rotator cuff surgery probably early next year, hopefully sooner and was considering the use of GH to speed up recovery.

Try to listen to the advice given here, in taking as much time off as needed and when returning to the gym, to go light. At our age (I am 40) recovery is a much longer process.
