Since every time I drive in Calgary I lose my ****ing mind I would like to see what the rest of Canada has to say about this. I have been in Calgary since 2005(moved here from Hamilton, ON) and at first I thought that it must be a few stupid guys here and there but it's been 4 years and nothing has changed.
-Doing 90km/hr in the left lane on the highway
-Not moving over when you come up on a driver doing 90km/hr in the left lane on the highway
-Hitting the brakes when you honk or high beam while doing 90km/hr in the left lane on the highway
-Slowing down or completely stopping in the merge lane to the ****ING HIGHWAY(most people merge driving under the speed limit)
-Instead of moving over to the middle lane of the highway so that the people who are merging can actually merge they hit the brakes and slow down to 70km/hr so the guy can go in front of them
-While you are waiting at the stop sign for them to go by(straight) they turn next to you without signaling and now you waiting like an idiot for nothing
-Driving in the lane that is ending to the end of the lane and then honking at you to let them in
-(This is a good one) While in traffic they realize that there is a lane to the right of them that is going to end in a couple of hundred meters but there is no one in it since it's ****ING ENDING so they turn into that lane and drive until it ends and then honk at people to let them in
-Stopping 3 car lengths before the red light
-Driving side by side on a 2 lane road at the same speed so that NO ONE CAN ****ING PASS
-Waiting the last moment for their exit on the highway and then hitting the brakes and changing 3 lanes to get off
-There are 600 accidents the first snow fall in a weekend(everybody acts as if they have never seen this white stuff before)
There are lots more but I can't remember right now. For the first two years I thought that it was just a few stupid people and me since I am an aggressive driver but then I went to Victoria for a vacation and also drove to Ontario and back and realized that it wasn't me. People here are ****ED UP when it comes to driving!
What do you guys from Calgary think about this? What is the rest of Canada like better or worse?
