Man tonight's shot hurt like hell the whole way pushing in... must've picked up the alcohol from the surface and brought it in with it. These stupid alcohol wipes take forever to evaporate.. WTF!?.. I'm getting little shots of pain running down my leg right now.. bizarre.

Anyway, what brand of wipes do you guys use? Do you use isopropyl alcohol or do you use iodine or something else?

Walmart 'Equate' isopropyl wipes. Cheap as hell. How's the weather in Cali Bro?

Isopropyl and it evaporates so quickly like within 5 seconds if not less.

I use isopripyl and never had to wait for evaporation.. Its probably instantaneous

^^baby wipes?? you're kidding, right? they aren't even anti-bacterial are they?

i think these wipes are not of good quality.. they shouldn't take so long to evaporate. even when i wipe the tops of my bottles, it sits there for at least 5 mins before it's evaporated.

it's possible i hit a nerve, since i went a bit lower than i usually do.. this has happened before though, when i dont wait long enough for the alcohol to evaporate.. i think it took longer because i just came out of the shower, so my skin was still moist. that shit stings dammit!

PdH, weather's just fine... sun's shining... ocean's sparkling.... :)

Baby wipes

LOL. I had a buddy use the wipes that come with ribs or a KFC utensil pack. Wild!

A little alcohol on the needle just causes a quick sting. Whatever you're suffering must be from some other cause.

I'm pretty sure it was the alcohol.. those odd shooting pains only happened a couple times (not sure what that was about). The stinging was from the alcohol.. I push the needle in slowly, so I think it just stung the whole way in because of it. I either need to wait longer for it to evaporate, or find a better product.. I'm almost out anyway, so I'll buy something else next time.

Few weeks ago i was out of my iso wipes when i started my cycle so i used hydrogen peroxide for a week and non of my shots hurt or swelled or turned red. As soon as i switched to iso wipes inject started to hurt, injection site turned red(some sites are still red)and hurt like a bastard.

Im thinking of switching back to the peroxide and injection right after a shower when my skin is cleanest or using an iso wipe first then the peroxide right after?

With EOD injections pain free injects would be nice.
