Going to the bar when you have a gf...

For some reason, as soon as I get into a relationship I loose interest in the bar/club scene.

Its just no longer fun to me to go out and get ripped and be surrounded by smokeshows who you know you can't take home.

Anyone else feel this way? Am I just taking the wrong approach?

hmm unless they approach me I go to have fun with my friends and LOOK at the girls. If they approach me (which they often do) then that's a different story although I have been known to buy a girl a drink to leave me alone.

Guess it's more or less if you have the ability to control yourself.

There is absolutely no point what so ever in going to a club/bar when you're in a relationship. Its totally stupid IMO.

99.999% of guys go clubbing or to bars to get drunk and hook up. If you're there to try and have good time, you won't. Period... its like going car shopping with your rich friend and knowing you wont be taking anything home... no one goes car shopping for fun...

I hate bars and clubs to begin with. Bars are too expensive and crowded, or else full of losers. Clubs are decent but I'm too old for the only one here. When I was old enough I was really fat so I'd just hug the wall. Plus they never played a good mix of tunes.
