If it was only 8-12 weeks I'd extend to 16 weeks just so its easier to get over her, you dont need your hormones ****ing with your emotions also. Do what I did when I got dumped last year. It depends on long you have been with someone and how well you know them... I am going to go out on a limb and say they have not been going out all that long... my wife and I have been together for almost 18 years, since we are 20... I do treat her like gold and she deserves it!

never put your obligations or what's important to on the back burner for a women! Women may disagree with this, but they will appreciate this in the end and always appreciate a man that is motivated and goal oriented and this as a result will always create an attraction and she will always strive to increase her importance in your life. No we have not been together that long. But it's the fact it was so sudden. I was with her monday and everything seemed fine. We talked tuesday, again everything was fine, then today I get this message. I thought this girl was different, we told each other some pretty deep shit, and I'm one of the most closed off , skeptical people you would ever meet. So I figure I'd let myself open up just once, and I get shit on.
