Bros,

For those of you who train in MMA (or MT/BJJ), do any of you also use AAS?

I've done a couple cycles in the past and I was planning on starting another shortly but now that I am also training MMA 3x a week, I don't know if I can justify using AAS if I can't give lifting a 100% effort.

I'm just having a hard time justifying putting my body through AAS if I can't completely devote myself to lifting and get the optimal results from AAS. Don't get me wrong, I still lift, but it's not only 3x a week and not a bodybuilding type routine.

So I'm wondering, for those of you who train mma and lift, what are your schedules like? And if any of you also use aas, how do you justify it? (do you only use them to assist with recovery?)

my schedul is 350 TEST E & 200 EQ a week. I know that anavar & masteron could be good as well.

But I guess i'm wondering, if you are just an MMA amateur or doing it as a hobby, it's hard to justify using AAS for mma...

And if you are training MMA, you likely don't have time to devote as much time as you should in the gym if you're cycling..

So why use AAS? (I want to..i just need to convince myself)

I use AAS because I am 5"4 and I can maintain a 160 lean weight very easily compare to when I was natty i would slowly loose weight to 140 and have to bulk up again.

Since I keep strength and recovery high I still see strength & size improvement on 4h of gym time a week. My conditionning & resistance has improved as well, and I can train BJJ 4x 2.5h a week without experiencing extreme soreness like I used to natty after 3-4 days a training in a row.

My body also look better than ever. And I get laid more often. I dont think my BJJ really got better from my aas use, but it has helped my conditioning.

How long are you cycles, and how much time off do you take between cycles?

BJJ is such intense cardio that it's really hard to retain size - I'm wary of running cycles just to lose most (if not all) my gains during my off time...

I will be running 16 weeks, and 3 month off + PCT. I will be able to tell you later how I can retain my size since its my first cycle now.

How far into it are you?

Noticed the low dose (250mg test and 300mg eq) which is along the lines of what I'm considering - What kind of results are you seeing?

I am 1 month into my cycle, and 6lbs heavier. my BF is lower. Recovery & resistance seems better as well.

I am planning for my next cycle maybe something like.

1-16 test prop 300mg/week
3-9 anavar 30mg ed
10-16 200 masteron prop/week

but this is just an idea, I am still researching.
