anyone donate a vehicle to teen challenge farm?

just wondering if anyone has donated a vehicle to teen challenge farm and how it works? If I donated a car (approx. value 3k) what do i get in return? I think a "fair-market-value tax receipt" or something..but what if i dont usually end up paying taxes or only a small amount? Am i then out the cash I could have got for it if I sold it? Just thought this might be a nice thing to do.

If you pay no tax (???) then you get no tax refund.

If you paid 10000 in taxes, and had a 3000 tax credit, then your income shows 3000 less and you would get the taxes back off that 3000 (probably in the neighborhood of $1200)
