After watching that funny video of what looks like lego people talking about crossfit, I clicked a link of some kids doing "fran" training. It appears to be a very fast circuit routine of overhead push presses and chin ups. This fran is the benchmark of circuit training I assume...anyhoo....

My questions are: How much does the barbell have to weigh to do these push presses? Is there a certain number of reps that must be completed each set or is it dependant on the weight you are lifting?

The barbell looked like it had about 10lbs in total with the way it was being moved around. Can anyone help me out?

Cross fit makes me so incredibley upset. If the founder wasen't a gin swilling moron who makes outlandish statements and 90% of it's training population wasen't a bunch of brain-washed hipsters who have no idea what they are talking about I would actually like it.

That said it believe its thrusters not push presses. It is 95lbs with 21-15-9 reps, for time
