You could tell her. And it may lead to you guys fighting it out and not getting back together. But in the end, you just might end up chasing her down at the airport and begging her not to move to France, both mutually expressing your immense love for one another, and ultimately getting back together and getting married.

However, this is not TV. Things may not work out if you tell her. It depends on how forgiving she is.

If there's no way she can ever find out on her own.. don't tell her. If there is a chance she could find out, and you do tell her she'll probably be just as pissed about it if she found out on her own.

Keep it to yourself, pretend it never happened, w/e. Women like honesty, but they never like to hear about sleeping with other chicks, regardless of the circumstances.

I agree with the folks who say don't tell her. Like you said, it was one night, it was a physical thing and you were done with it. This would only be an issue if you fell in love with the girl you slept with and kept on sleeping with her after you get back with your ex....

Keep it to yourself and you'll be happier for it.

If you are 100% sure your tracks are covered dont tellher. If there is any doubt it will come up you have to be up front with her or it will back fire.

Your guilt is your burden to bear, and trying to have her take it on for you is going make this worse. Telling her will not get you a fast ticket to the absolution train. In fact it will probably get you a ticket to the self-deprecation train.

I dont advocate sleeping around when you potentially want to get back together with your X.. but I still wouldnt tell her.

However, If she asked. It means she's concidered it and she understands to a degree... so you could tell her. But if she dont ask. DONT TELL. Never offer more information than what is required.

But, if you think you wanna marry the girl.. tell her.. this could come back and bite you in the ass.... anyone of your buddies who know could go sour on you one day... even 10 years from now and tell her. You'd be getting divorced and losing half your stuff because of it.

But had she, she would not have told. If she did, do you really think you would WANT to know? If so, by the time you did know, you would probably regret wanting to know.

Those type of things are hurtful even if she knows you were on a break, and even if her logic would say it should be ok, it will not be ok, because that image of you with another girl at that exact moment will cause jealousy or some other sort of emotion. No matter how much she knows she shouldn't be feeling that emotion, she still will be...

I honestly believe that if you tell her and she DOESN'T make an issue out of it, it means there was no chance at love in the first place.

I wasnt dating her until now, and I really dont care if you believe me or not. :)

I just hope you are not getting back with her because you are so gameless that you dont have a shot with anything else.
