Which ones do you find the best/offer the most support and protection to the elbows?

Discuss.

I think it depends on the person... I have had the best luck using a medium or large knee sleeve... I tried the neoprene one from shiek but I prefer the beige elastic one like you find in a pharmacy...

Thx Andre.

Any experiences from people who've tried Inzer or similar level sleeves?

I've never used them since you can't in a comp.

My knee wraps are from EFTS.com .If wrapped proper they're like haveing an extra set of legs , prob give me an extra 50lbs on my squat.

Wrist wraps are from APT.

****ing love them both.

I've used schiek for the knees and wrists , but they just don't come close to these. The material isin't strong enough.

Rehband all the way for me. And like Andre, I got the small knee sleeves and put them on my elbows.

I'm not sure about Schiek, I bet they work really well, but I was at a point where I just wanted to get the pain to go away and didn't want to mess around anymore. They're pricey, and you have to get them from the states and pay a duty, but they last forever, and they work pretty good.

so I think I am going to go with the following for now:

Elbow: http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&cid=139&pid=3016

Knee: http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&cid=139&pid=3013 OR the Super heavy: http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&cid=139&pid=3014 (not sure which one I should go with. Don't wish to take on and off but need to have maximum support these days)

Wrist: http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/default.asp?m=PD&cid=139&pid=3018 (wrsit are getting sore from all the ****ing hockey I am playing but don't wish to use that as an excuse to not hit the gym).

THOUGHT please!!!

Thank you

Returning to the original question...

Sleeves DO NOT offer support or protection. They offer warmth and compression.

Compression reduces swelling and inflammation.
Warmth keeps the joints lubed so to speak.

Support and protection is going to come from wraps.

Yeah I know. Bad choice of words. It's not really the support I am after so much as the warmth and compression factor more than anything.

Maybe I'll just get 2 sets of each (super and regular) and see which feels best then send the others back that I do not like? lol

Rehband ftw. They consider Canada domestic, so no ludicrous shipping charges. SD and I just got a bunch of stuff. It's all rad.

For you I'd go with Rehband 7791 Strongman Elbow Sleeves.

Yeah I know but man I am gonna look like even more of a ****ing freak than I do strapping those transformer things on my arms and knees. Only thing left is the helmet and I'd be good to go.

I'll give it some thought tonight and prob bite the bullet on them. Are they actual sleeves and then the straps for supports???

Thanks again dude!

Have you considered a bell or a horn?

tiramisu

... When you finally get under the squat rack with your knee, elbow, wrist sleeves, bicycle helmet and bell I think you should definitly post a video.
Just in case you need a special accessory Inzer makes their forever lever belts in pink.

I'm just teasing. I save my tensor bandages for home but I have a fine collection.

problem with the knee ones you recommended. They only go up to 43-46cm. Mine measure 50cm.

Think that will be an issue???????

**** arms won'tr fit either. 4cm bigger than their biggest one.

What to do? :(

AlladdinSane

Should be fine. The elbow sleeve even has a top slit on it just for that reason. The stuff I bought was a little on the small side (as far as the measurements went). I risked it and they fit great.
