2 year old expired protein on shelf.. wondered why i had the run

Yep so a month ago i bough some muscle milk so yesterday i was almost out so i went to buy some more when i got to work i checked the date on it and on my last jar, best by 12/2007..Yep expired of 2 year so i hate around 1,5 pounds of expired muscle milk... Note that it wasnt on a liquidation self or anything and paid 45$ each jar... So i found the culprit of my stomach bloating and runs...

its possible the runs were from something else. I find expiry dates on things like protein powder very misleading. I've had 2-4 years past expiry and never a problem!

Also, a lot of companies have taken to labeling their products with "Date of manufacturing" also, and expiry dates for protein powders are made for 2 years post manufacture.

Whoever sells expired stuff without disclosing that fact to the consumer should be shot and dismembered IMO.
