I have found a shake that is giving me no stomach trouble and awsome growth. I take 1 before and 1 after workout, and 1 on off days. The rest comes from good eating.
pre (1 hour):
250ml Costco egg white (25 grams protein)
250ml Skim Milk (8 grams Protein, 13 grams sugar)
1 scoop Kaizen Vanilla Isolate (35 grams Protein)
100 grams oats (66 grams carbs)
5 grams Creapure Creatine (Allmax)
5 grams Glutamine Micro (Allmax)
70 grams protein, 70 grams mixed carbs, no fat.
Then a pre-workout stim, intra drink, post aminos.
Post (20 min after post aminos)
250ml Costco egg white (25 grams protein)
250ml Skim Milk (8 grams Protein, 13 grams sugar)
1 scoop Kaizen Vanilla Isolate (35 grams Protein)
25 grams Dex
5 grams Glutamine Micro (Allmax)
70 grams protien, 40 grams carbs.
This is working awsome for me. I know some will say use water after a workout, but water tastes gross, and if i digest too fast, I get the runs. Also, the nutritional value of milk is excellent.
Just thought i'd throw this out there.

That would be a great shake. But my body just dosen`t handle liquid eggs. Liquid eggs= me having a liquid ass...
I would up the carbs post workout to 100 however.

i try to avoid the high carbs pre-workout. insulin spikes preworkout do nothing for me.

shake sounds good but I would add some essential fatty acids to that

I always have 100 grams preworkout (60 grams from oatmeal and 30ish from frozen berries) during training 70 grams of dextrose, then post workout 100 grams of dextrose. The 70 grams intra training I feel are used up well as one meal before training I feel is not optimal so those carbs I feel are needed, especially on leg day...

x2 I don't hit any carbs pre-workout neither, did in the past and really never noticed anything for a difference.....but to each their own though :)

Pre workout carbs are essential for me because i work out in the morning. So its kinda like breakfast. Id agree later in the day to not bother with them.
And yea, I get some good farts but not too bad. Egg protein is pretty unbeatable in profile.
I would bump the post carbs but I find I gain fat when I go too high. I do eat a meal about an hour later tho, with carbs in it.
Thnx for the responses and input as always,

very true, I know I wouldn't have the energy nor the power to do a leg session in the am without carbs, lol
I made almost that identical shake every day for breakfast for 3 years.
I had to switch it up cause drinking oatmeal gets real old....
Great minds think alike

Hey, what if you cooked the egg whites before adding them to the shake? mmmmmm..... little bits of egg whites......
Shake looks good, but the thought of drinking raw eggs makes my stomach churn.

I'm with you too, I was always a fat kid and it's a struggle to keep the fat off. I could guarantee that I will never make single digit bf%. That being said, with no starchy carbs after noon with strictly fibrous carbs I've leaned out quite a bit but I am bored with the vegetables.
I may try the shake pre-workout with half the carbs and see what happens. I suspect the squirts are coming though!
P.S I really love your avatar!

Don't you have a risk of getting salmonella with raw eggs?

Liquid egg whites in the carton are generally pasteurized...so no worries there.

Many studies have shown cooked egg
gives more bang for buck than raw.
"The higher digestibility of cooked egg protein presumably results from structural changes in the protein molecule induced by heating, thereby enabling the digestive enzymes to gain broader access to the peptide bonds."
