Everyday I feel that I am more and more in disadvantage.
I am a straight forward, honest, assertive type of person, if I like it I say if I don't like it and my opinion is asked: I say!
But I see that the PC, sociopath, poisonous type of vermin taking over society. They hate you and ask how you're doing. They do small talk to you and them put a complaint behind your back. They give you compliments in front of you and them back stab you and if you confront them in their bullshit: [U]YOU ARE F"CKED[ /U]
How do you can raise kids when the world is turning in to a snake pit?
put them in poli sci class and let them learn how to recognize it and handle it accordingly.

Happened to me as well at two different jobs.. I'm an honest guy, I say what's on my mind. But there are a lot of people who are weak minded and are afraid of being honest. They hide behind their fake smiles sitting at their desks and wait for their time to talk behind your back. Regardless how you treat them and go out of your way for them the first chance they'll get they won't stand up for you but stab you in the back. Some people never grow out of their school playground mentality, and this is a prime example of it.
Problem is you never really know til it blows up in your face. I ****ing hate office politics.

I agree with the above statement... it's a good thing I work with my long time buddy... when we have something to say too one another that might not be plesant we say it, then we tell each other to **** off and move on..we known each other for too long to let work related hissy fits get in the way of being buddies..

Same here man. I work with a couple of good buddies too...and we just put it on the table and say whats what if we need too.
Unfortunetley I also recently lost a good bro because of the opposite. He didn't ask/say what was on his mind until much too late and it ended up costing us a friendship.

Why is it that when these discussions happen the most extreme examples are tabled. The issue with the above people was not their opinions (thoughts) but actions.
We now live in a society that is trying to control our thoughts. It should not be a crime to think or speak what you believe. The free exchange of thought and ideas should be fostered and encouraged. If free thought is not allowed we are left with the propaganda of the day. The problem with propaganda is it can not be questioned.
If I make statements such as "homosexuality is wrong and harmful to society" or "Global warming is a fraud" or "Abortion is murder" I should not be belittled for my beliefs simply because they go against the mainstream. However, if I go around killing homosexuals or abortion doctors I should be brought to justice.
Thoughts and expressing those thoughts should not be a crime nor should they be stifled simply because they hurt somebodies feelings.
I know I am in the minority but I like it that way as it is less crowded here.

The human being as a pack animal likes what is constant and mainstream. I do agree with you that for as long as you are a free thinker you are f'cked.
