I woke up last night scared shitless thinking I was having a heart attack, my heart felt like it was about to push itself out of my chest. It was fast or anything just hard. Wondering if anyone else gets this? And it isnt the first time its happened.

probably some anxiety but it could be a myriad of things.....stimulants, general anxiety, night terrors etc......

Only when I see a hot chick and then something else also starts to bear hard :)

I get panic attacks from time to time also.
This morning I woke up at 5AM and my heart started pounding real fast. I know how to control it though which helps.
Try to breath easy, and put things into perspective===something is bothering you work on it.
I gather my attacks the last few years have been business related. Big overhead.

The usage of anabolics also takes precedent and plays a strong factor IMO

anxiety!
light a candel and get into your zen space!!
(seriously ok I know you are all big boys and such, but sometime you need to lookinto doing some kind of meditative work to destress... like yoga... please don't kill me for suggesting it... My dad died of a heart attack at 50, he had his first heart attack at 32, heart disease runs in my family... please get yourself checked out at a Dr... just to make sure your ticker is ok... then try to destress your life! xoxo)

I get it all the time, and it's definitely anxiety - either school-related or work-related. Taking my mind off things helps a lot, purely a mental thing.

Also laying off coffee and other stimulants. Actually, I need to be really awake and alert during the day, so this anxiety is actually a good thing at times - I don't need stimulants to stay awake.

Breathing also helps a lot - try taking deep slow breaths and think about the heart rate. Then try "syncronizing", or matching the heart rate to the deep slow breaths - you will notice heart rate decreasing and staying there.

get it all the time

same here, feels kinda cool actually...though I am a high energy type guy as well, it helps if I get out and scare myself (adrenaline wise) a couple times :D

I got drunk on boxing day. Passed out, and woke up gasping for breath and was snoring like I was knocked out. Semi concious trying to breathe and I couldnt. It was ****ed. Took about 10 seconds to actually wake myself up and stop snoring and breathe.

No more getting pissed till I am off, and smaller.
