I'm 27 now, started training the month before I turned 27. Still don't know how far I wanna take bodybuilding as first priority is to get down low enough to see my genetic standpoint.

I have interests in wrestling, as well as boxing. So if I don't have a frame for bodybuilding I might take those routes. Problem is I have bad knees so I don't know if wrestling would be all that good for me.

Either way, I'm deciding right now to dedicate my life to fitness. It's the only thing in this world that keeps me away from things that will get me into trouble.

I got into lifting weights at 13 but never started juicing until 23. I am more dedicated now than ever before. I have big hopes for myself. Looking to get to 245lbs around 10% but I do not want to compete.

I started when i was 16 but i don't think i knew that this is what i "wanted" to do till i was in my mid 30's.. I know it doesn't make any sense but it wasn't a concious decision till later in life, i just lifted because thats what i did..

Started at 21, I knew right as soon as I watched "pumpin iron" for the first time I wanted to have size... I've worked out almost 5 days a week since then... aside from holidays, I have almost never defected from that either.

I started at around 18 and from there on and off. As the years caught up (aka 30) I was unable to keep my gains and low BF by half assing it.

Been consistent since then and have not missed more than a few days for the last 3 years.

When I first met Dorian Yates on a magazine, I had wondered why he had veins, and HUGE muscles...I wanted the same too.
I was 18 years of age, long distance runner, soccer player, already an instructor in Chuto-Ryo and a sore 120olbs soaking wet :D :D
I will never forget my first workout, i could not walk for days.
First cycle at 19, Ottawa level 1 junior at 20, 2nd place...the rest is history.

I seen Nimrod King and Berry Demey when I was 12 years old or so when my father was competing in the Canadians, they were the guest posers. When Nimrod walked onstage I thought no way he's a bodybuilder he looks so fat, he was wearing a tuxedo and the jacket hung to the sides make him look fat to me, lol. He took the jacket off and had sleeveless shirt underneath and my eyeballs almost popped out of my head I've never seen arms like that since. I was hooked from then on...

Yeah but Toney has a wicked bad pec tear, he obviously got that from light weight curls.

I started when I was 20 doing some bodybuilding stuff here and there, then I discovered deadlifting and it was a whole new ballgame.

Wanted to since i was a wee lad, I grew up wayyyy out in the boonies in manitoba, then i finally got to the city and went to college....
I didnt get really into it until i was almost 30, ive had the luxury of being near gyms for the past 5-6 yrs now and thats when i got into it, then i did my first cycle a few yrs ago and have been hooked since, so im still kind of a rookie but im working on making up lost time now....
Now any job i take there must be a gym near by or i cant go.....:greet
