So I am just getting over a ****ing cold, going on 12 days now and Tuesday after work I go to my foot doctor appointment which I had made three months ago and he says my feet need orthotics and my hammies, calves and ass are tight as hell and need to be stretched. So I start stretching Tuesday evening, wake up yesterday and a tendon or something behind my right knee is so ****ing sore I can hardly walk! Today its much better but still sore and its quads day today...what should I do god damn it!

That sucks bro. Feel glad it's not a tear though. At least you will be able to train another day if you don't feel up to it.

Lol, hey bro if you're going to loose it every time you have an injury i'd reconsider what you're doing.. It's not a big deal, if it hurts it's telling you to give it some rest and let her heal. Work around the injury and before you know it you'll be as good as new. Think long term, missing the odd workout isn't going to have any impact on your long term goals..

listen to your body, i think it is telling you, you need a couple more days of rest and maybe some more streching.

Stretching still is putting force trough the muscle (excentric instead of concentric) therefore still is work.

A good epson salts bath is great for any sort of muscle problem.

Give a few days to heal itself, restart working on higher repetitions and stretch it lightle every day for 15 mins only after a while you can stretch with less frequency and longer.

In about 1 month your lower body will be able to take you regular work outs plus deeper stretching.

If you have the budget 1 2X a week 30 min deep tissue massage will be more efficient.

For you cold: it should not last 12 days that means your himmune system is ****ed or you have something else not a cold. In either way take a shit load of oil of oregano and you will be fine.

ok so get this, I ended up hobbling to the gym and did 10 sets of front squats...no pain in that spot behind the knee, did some walking lunges superset with extensons...no problem, tried some stiff leg deads...I could feel a bit of a pull in the bad spot so I stopped. Anyway its getting much better and I am no longer hobling around... I find it very weird that on wednesday I could hardly walk and today its 80% better...goes to show that your best to get to the gym and see how it feels instead of making excuses.:D
