Ive been working out for about 2 years now and I rarely ever do hard cardio since i wanted to bulk up. I was 165 when i started and am now around 205. Ive taken creatine, lot's a protien, no shotgun and i eat healthy and my body fat is around 10-12% most of which is on my stomach since i rarly focus on abs. I find myself a lil more tired lately, i took a week off to see how i would feel and i felt great. it also seems like i break out everytime i go to the gym and when i take a couple days off my skin go back to normal. the NO shotgun i was on for a about 2 months which worked wonders but within the middle of the 2nd month my skin got really bad, apparently the insulin in it was raising my sebrum gland level.. ever heard of that?? my pharmasist concluded that one. but ive been off for bout a month so it should be out of my system, anyways i was wondering if i should mabye just focus on cardio for a solid month and keep away from lifting weights and see how that turns out? i honestly think i might be burnt out or coming close to it... i enjoy working out and looking big but mabye if i lose about 10-15 pounds ill be better off.
any opinions/suggestions would be appreciated:greet

sounds to me like your over trained, when I feel that way I lift nice and light for a while, eat well, take a wk long break, etc... however I don't let my body get to that point anymore as I got used to being able to read it after all these yrs :)

.......maybe someone will resize that for ya ha

You gotta post a pic so we can see your physique. You`re wearing shorts, and and a wife beater.

If you're starting to feel run down, maybe you could change your workouts into a 3 day split, and add a few days of cardio 45 mins. A break from the No Shotgun is a good idea, all that caffeine can put stress on your adrenals, which would definitely contribute to feeling burnt out.

I tried working out 4 days a week and got burnt out pretty damn fast. I've switched to an EOD 3 day split, and that has seemed to help a great deal with the way I feel. The most help though I think came from starting cardio. I was the same as you, just wanted to bulk and didn't do any cardio. It really helps with overall energy.

Maybe if you've been eating a lot of carbs you can cut back. I found my energy is better after a meal without heavy carbs. When I was bulking, I ate a ton of carbs and it always made me feel tired and lethargic.
