I saw this product on Dragons Den tonight. Here is a link to the nutritional info. It looks real interesting. I am going to order some and try it out.

^^^^ It is already available but limited. I have emailed the company to see how I can get my hands on some as there is no stores in Ontario that currently carry it. He said on the show that retail was not his main market. It looks like it is currently does not sell outside of MB. If I had a store I would certainly carry it.

he mainly sells it as pig feed lol

but if it tastes good id give it a go.... the nutritional values of it are great from what i saw on the show lastnite.

he said he's going to try and incorperate(sp) it into the dough for the pizza at BP to try and make it a lil more healthy.

That's what he was saying when he was trying to get the dragon's to up the cash he was getting. We love that show. How do I get on - I've got an idea that will make millions.

Looking at that...it's not that much better than oats; just a slightly higher protein content.

How does it taste (compared to oats)?
How does it cook (compared to oats)?
How much does it cost (compared to oats)?

On the label it recommends to "mix half and half with rice in your favorite recipe".

Can't comment on taste, I haven't tried it, too much $. I'll stick with regular oats.

I bought some and tried it. It is good, not much taste. It is a bit chewy, so it has some real texture to it. I like it. It is expensive. I am trying to get the supplier to send me a wholesale price list.
