EDMONTON -- An Edmonton man who started taking steroids to help him lose weight ended up being the Canadian distributor in a million-dollar international steroid trafficking ring.
That's what court heard yesterday when Glenn Donald England, a 38-year-old father of four, pleaded guilty to possession of steroids for the purpose of trafficking.
According to agreed facts, England was busted after an eight-month undercover operation by city police and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) that ended with an Oct. 10, 2006, raid at his west Edmonton apartment.
Police found more than 200,000 steroid tablets, with a street value of between $400,000 to $600,000, 23.5 litres of steroid oils valued at $235,000, $50,000 in cash and packaging materials England used to distribute the illegal goods. There was also evidence found linking England to Irish steroid king Brian Wainstein, including itemized steroid orders on Wainstein's website, names and addresses of customers, courier delivery receipts, phone records, money transfer receipts and computer text messages.
According to the agreed facts, between Feb. 7, 2006, and Oct. 30, 2006, England was in possession of 640,000 steroid tablets and 37.7 litres of steroid oil, valued at from $1.6 million to $2.3 million, that were sent by Wainstein.
City police were tipped to the steroid trafficking operation after the CBSA intercepted a steroid shipment in Vancouver that was destined for an Edmonton address.
Det. Ken Brander substituted the steroid tablets with sugar and delivered the package with a note advising he should be called to smuggle in further shipments.
A week later he got a call from a man Irish police identified as Wainstein and the two made a supposed deal.
According to the agreed facts, over a period of months Wainstein sent Brander 17 packages of steroid tablets and steroid oils from Moldova, Hong Kong and China.
The packages contained 960,000 tablets and 62.8 litres of oil with a street value of between $2.5 and $3.5 million.
Federal prosecutor Joseph Selvaratnam asked for England to be handed 30 months in jail while defence lawyer Jake Chadi suggested an 18-month conditional sentence to be served in the community and a fine.
During the sentencing hearing, Chadi said the heavyset England initially just wanted to use the product himself to lose weight, but then got hooked up with Wainstein.
A sentencing decision is slated for next week.

No, but Im sure you could find out easy enough. And because I don't want to invoke the wrath of MP or Willy, I won't name the lab.... Lets just say it wasn't BD 100%...... more like BW. Which is why he has a Canadian warrant out for him.....Long story, but interesting. Do a search, its all out there easy to find.

England admitted conspiring with GenXXL and Axio Labs founder Brian Wainstein to distribute significant quantities of steroid tablets and steroid injectable products in 2006. (”Edmonton cops bust steroid trafficker,” April 16).

The Edmonton Police cooperated with Irish police in a joint investigation after the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) intercepted a package from Wainstein containing anabolic steroids. Law enforcement monitored telephone conversations between England and Wainstein over the ensuing eight months. Canadian authorities arranged 17 controlled deliveries of steroid powders and steroid injectables shipped by Wainstein from Moldova, Hong Kong and China.

The packages contained 960,000 tablets and 62.8 litres of oil with a street value of between $2.5 and $3.5 million.

Edmonton Police Detective Ken Brander apparently replaced the steroid tablets with inert ingredients before delivering the packages to Glenn England. This may have, in part, contributed to the deteriorating reputation of GenXXL underground lab. England was apparently distributing fake GenXXL “sugar pills” to customers during most of 2006.

Edmonton police pursued at least one of Glenn England’s customers after he was arrested. Roger Tomasi, the owner of Bull Pen Gym in Edmonton, was given a 15-month conditional sentence with 3-months house arrest. Roger Tomasi pleaded guilty to two counts of steroid trafficking for selling 299 Anavar pills to undercover oficers at his gym in November 2006.

Roger Tomasi was originally indicted as a co-conspirator along with Brian Wainstein of GenXXL and Glenn England for the more serious crime of “conspiring to commit an indictable offence, relating to an alleged conspiracy to import and sell steroids.” Brian Wainstein faces a steroid conspiracy charges. Wainstein remains a fugitive with an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Canada.

Interestingly, although Irish police were apparently aware of Wainstein’s continued trafficking in anabolic steroids in 2006, Dublin Circuit Criminal Court Judge Martin Nolan sentenced Axio Labs / GenXXL founder Brian Wainstein to 4 months in prison (out of a two year suspended sentence) for the unlawful possession, sale, and distribution of anabolic steroids.

Canadian authorities have issued an arrest warrant for the South African national thought to be residing in Ireland. However, Ireland does NOT have an extradition treaty with Canada.

The Glenn England plea agreement is further bad news for Axio Labs founder Brian Wainstein. William Llewellyn, author of Anabolics 9th Edition and a soon-to-be-published expose on underground steroid labs, recently questioned Axio Labs quality control on the Body of Science website with the discovery of water in half of the vials that Axio submitted to BOS for lab testing (”AXIO examination,” March 26).

I think it is OK to release an early observation of AXIO, as I have concerns. AXIO felt strongly enough about their line to provide us samples. This is a very good sign. However, half of the samples AXIO provided us for testing were contaminated with water. You could see it immediately when you shake the vials up. if any of you at home have an AXIO vial, I invite you to do the same and report your observation.

This is just water and not necessarily “pollution”, mind you. I am NOT SAYING AXIO IS DIRTY OR DANGEROUS. But I am very anxious to see the results on this line. Water is not supposed to cloud up an oil-based solution, and shows there are problems. [...]

SBC has followed the back and forth dispute between William Llewellyn and Axio Labs on the SoreButtCheeks blog.

The quality control of Axio Labs is certainly a major concern but only one of several problems facing the underground lab. The greatest risk may ultimately come from law enforcement. Glenn England’s plea agreement highlights the significant attention law enforcement has devoted to the activities of one of the fugitive owners of Axio Labs and his colleagues/customers. Brian Wainstein has clearly been targeted as one of the major underground lab distributors of anabolic steroids worldwide.

Irish authorities convicted Wainstein of distributing steroids in 2003. Canadian authorities issued an arrest warrant for Wainstein on steroid distribution and conspiracy charges based on involvement with GenXXL in 2006. Wainstein has since been publicly linked to another underground lab Axio labs in 2008 and 2009. Wainstein is clearly on the steroid most wanted list. Law enforcement is most likely aggressively pursuing any and all identifiable co-conspirators of Brian Wainstein as well.

It it was determined by an independent lab with no vested interest in any UG yes.
If you trust WM's testing you are trusting a guy who openly endorsed UG labs on his site before... He's not exactly neutral all the time. IMHO a guy could make more $$$ taking payoffs for a favorable review than selling the actual book.... He def got Alins attention, to the point he posted pics of WM's house and hired AR as a hired gun lol.

Last I saw he published a few results on his site as a "warning" for people on his site. Most of the results published were about bacteria contaminated product.

You could see if there is water in oil very easily. And this is coming from William Llewellyn as well, do not be fooled. This guys books has stopped making him money as the originally were. A lot of people that were helping this guy spot fakes and giving him all the info are not doing it anymore as he was making nice money off it all and not willing to share any of the profits and only take all the credit for it all! He does not know anything really himself as well (To prove this, go look in his book about the Anatest Prop made in Canada, the new version of it he has as real is really just a counterfeit ;-) ), so now he is after the UG scene and trying to make a buck there. And if a lab pays, then guess what. Your are ok in his book with no bacteria content. Only thing, this all came out and exploded and now he is back pedaling to save his ass and not look bad or that he was trying to make money for his own interest. Trust me on this, his books are worthless now! And with this new UG section, even more so!

I wouldn't really say their any more risky than anybody else selling via the net either... Bottom line is all UG is a risk until you know its not personally, and even buying HG from anywhere but a drugstore with a script theres a chance its counterfit. Theres even UG's being counterfited....

Farm Animals in Central Manitoba Ravaged by “Hairless Sasquatch”

Over the last several months RCMP in central Manitoba have been flooded by complaints from area farmers regarding a creature that has been molesting their livestock. Over a dozen cases around Winnipeg have surfaced, but many other attacks may have gone unreported due to the embarrassment it may have caused.

In every known case, livestock have been sexually assaulted. It seems no farm animal is safe, as the predator has been seen attacking cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, and even a goat. In desperation, local farmers have organized themselves into vigilante groups and are taking turns patrolling the countryside at night. One of these self proclaimed “Monster Hunters” is Ben Demover, from Steinbach. On one patrol a few weeks ago, Ben says he “got a really good look at the beast. We got a report from an older lady near Blumenort that something was in her barn, and the animals were making a hell of a ruckus. Well we hightailed it over there, and sure enough when we got close to the barn we could hear the pigs squealing to high heaven. I busted through the door and shone my flashlight all around real quick. Sure enough, there it was in the far corner. I swear to you, it was bigger than an ape...must have stood about 7 or 8 feet tall, built like a brick shit house too, must have been 400 lbs at least. Well I tell you, it had this big boar pinned up in the corner of the pen, and it was just pumping away on that poor pig. What was really weird, at the same time it was hammering on that pig, it was rubbing a chicken all over its face... I don’t know, but I think it really has a thing for chicken breasts. I gotta tell you, I was shit scared when I saw the size of that thing. I guess I froze, because before I could raise my 12 gauge the thing ran off out the back gate. Shit... I can still hear the squealing from that poor pig. That’s just not right...just not right I tell you.”

RCMP have declined to make a formal statement regarding the incidences, citing an “ongoing investigation”. However, one constable agreed to speak with us on the condition that we maintain his anonymity. Off the record, the officer had this to say. “We really don’t know what we’re dealing with here. From the reports we’ve gotten, it certainly seems that this is some kind of large primate. One farmer said the best way he could describe the animal was a hairless sasquatch. Our investigation has uncovered the fact that a large, male gorilla escaped from the Chicago City Zoo back in 2006, and was never recaptured. Right now we’re looking at the possibility that the gorilla moved north over the past few years, and has taken up residence around Winnipeg. We just can’t figure out how it lost its hair. We suspect that on one of his farm raids he may have come into contact with a cattle implant called finaplex, that is notorious for hair loss. One troubling aspect of this whole thing though, we’ve looked high and low for tracks from the creature...and nothing. In every case we’ve found footprints from a size 11 runner, that we’ve identified as a cheap Chinese knockoff of a Nike. All I know is, I’m hoping that this is in fact some wild animal, because if a man did these terrible things, he is one sick f*#k!”
