Hi I've been lifting for around 3 years. I'm currently around 215 pounds at 5,9 and I want to cut down to between 195-205 by new year without losing any strength. I'm about 16% bf. Heres a diet I just created and started.
Morning:3 eggs, 4-6 egg whites + bowl of oatmeal and 2 fruits
snack:40g whey
Lunch: Tuna Sandwich on whole wheat bread
Mid afternoon: 40g whey+1 apple
pre workout meal: meat or fish with some kind of carb like rice or pasta
pre workout shake: 20g protein with orange juice
post workout shake: 40g whey protein
Supper: 1-2 eggs with 6-8 egg whites and veggies, sometimes instead of eggs I'll have some more of the meat/fish that I had pre workout
So there it is suggestions welcome! Its the first time since i start lifting that I try to cut hehe:D

Calories are awfully low. Probably like 1200 calories.
Okay, maybe not quite that low, but seems pretty low.
whey snack is pointless. I'd atleast add some fats to slow down digestion.
Same with mid afternoon.
Better to replace with real protein then whey

Theres no way thats 1200 calories. I'll just clarify a little. At breakfast I eat a cup of oatmeal with a tablespoon of pb in it. The tuna sandwich is with real mayo. The preworkout meal is usually a big plate of meat and rice its not the usual 6-8 oz serving probably double that.

Well it's not bad, but you are eating:
3 fruit
1 bread
1 pasta (sometimes)

I'd try to really limit these if you are serious about cutting weight.
If you are eating a cup of oatmeal, that's roughly 75g of carbs, depending on what brand/type. No need for fruit on top of that.

add 2-3 servings of veggies with each meal and add a greens powder to you shakes.

you need to start weighing and measuring your food if you want to start leaning down. This will give you more control of your diet and allow you to make the necessary changes when needed.

Drop the real mayo and fruit and orange juice too.

Alright thanks for the responses, so I'll start trying to replace fruit with veggies instead and I'll get into the portion control like you guys suggested. I thought the orange juice was good for preworkout? do you suggest just protein with water preworkout?
