he does, but they make you buy it through the proper pathways. This costs hundreds of dollars/month order overseas saves me at least half depending, sometimes more.

Heres a copy and paste:
Adequan is an injectable substance known as a "polysulfated glycosaminoglycan," and is very similar to the more familiar oral supplement known as glucosamine. Adequan has been proven to be preferentially taken up by inflamed joints when injected into the dog's muscles. It soothes and lubricates the joint, naturally reducing inflammation and pain by reducing friction. Even better, instead of just masking pain as NSAIDs do, it actually helps to rebuild cartilage in the damaged joint. It's not just pain control, it's therapy.

Wonder if it works as good as the hydraulonic acid that an old Ug used to make?

One vet supply store I was corresponding a year or so ago with said they would ship it to Canada no problem. I never did order any though. It might raise some eyebrows, but I can't imagine it being illegal to possess or ship.

I've checked everywhere on the import control list and cant find it, but its probably there.
Adequan is most effective when taken IV it has a systemic effect. I wouldnt recommend anyone do that though.

These family of drugs have almost the same effects.
1. Direct anti-inflammatory activity;
2. Inhibition of neutrophil migration into joints;
3. Stimulation of hyaluronic acid synthesis by synovial fibroblasts which results in a marked increase in synovial fluid volume and viscosity;
4. Stimulation of chondrocytes and the biosynthesis of proteoglycans;
5. Strong fibrinolytic activity which improves the circulation of subchondral bone and peri-articular structures.

There was a source on SSB selling Alflutop exclusively and claimed it was legal. He had some proof in his thread (including the links to the e-bay sales), but obviously I can't access that now. It's a natural product, i don't see why it would be a controlled substance. I tried to find it in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, but its not listed unless its under a different chemical name. I'll try and do some more digging and report back.

They control it because aflutop and adequan are much more expensive here.

Aflutop has been beamed to me from the good lord himself.
I will try this out on my dog and myself. I'll post the experiences, good or bad that I have.
